Pedro's campaign story is quite a story too, someone should finally set it straight.

 

Although this info is great and I love reading it, some of the descriptive nature should not be included because BSL junkies thrive on quoting things they find all over the net. Just my 2 cents.

 

i belive its no accident,look at her pedigree! some rough hardbiting blood on the top,& then really game stuff on the bottom.maybe she was the result of hybrid vigour.but that "ross's red devil"blood, would be the key to her staying in the box.win or lose.

Just how bad was CH. Swetmans Holly? Heard it said she was also an extremely destructive competitor.

 

A really good dog, supposed to be the best performer out of that litter.

I just would like to add something that I heard from a well respected old timer. He went into Tornado himself and said she was a better animal than Queen of Hearts. He saw the Queen in action and said she was a good animal but Tornado would have out-classed her period. He said she was an Ace and this old school dude doesn't just give credit to another kennel's animal.

 

I am really surprised that Gr Ch Molly bee was only brought up twice. I knew Slim would mention her, but what surprises me even more is the fact that so many people are making light of a 10xw. In reality how many of you have ever owned a Gr Ch or a Ch, until you have do not discredit that dogs accomplishments and I mean the dogs not the mans.

 

The only animal I would discredit is Hurricane Hugo. And that's because I know he loss. I go by facts if I'm to discredit a man's work.

 

Ironic I spoke to people who seen both one gentleman who went into Tornado and another that went into Queen, they say both great bitches but Queen had power out of this world... Yes Tornado was technical but she had to, You couldn't stop Queen from getting to back end.. Her mouth was a plus 10.. Queen isn't some backyard boogie, she beat 8 going for Ch or GrCh everyone was either of the two.. Good thing they were both friends though because Tornado had the world to lose, she would have been placing her history on the line if they would have met..

 

I think it has something to do with what people prefer. Some people love power while others love style and smarts. The old man has been right more often than not. He says she would have undressed her due to her style. This is almost like having a Redboy vs Eli debate. It's about preference when it comes to these bulldogs. Both were stone cold animals that weren't stopped. I do think Tornado's natural size advantage would have been a problem for the Queen coupled with the style.

 

Its very well possible she could have just as it's possible that Queen could have hit the face chest or backend and opened T up.. Queen wasn't just a oneway gunner she was smart but with brute power... I use to think T size would have been the deciding factor but Queen was being worked at 42 for some time and got to see a 46lb super bad bitch and Queen dismantled her. Then it was seen that she was better at 42 then she was 39 Mr KA had a chance to see her.. I'm glad they didn't do it they were friends and good sports and allowed both to have place with history.. It's like the old Affirmed x Alydar.. I'm still riding with Queen though

 

Yeah this is like chewing on rocks. I've seen and liked the animals down from the Queen of Hearts stuff and I'm going to try and get my hands on some more of that good old school stuff.

 

People have their favorites for what ever reason suits them.Tornado was a bad dog so was the Queen.I lean towards Tornado because I saw her and she was the best at her weight at that time.The Queen was great but at 38 or 39 maybe she looked good at 42 but that wasn't Tornado she was against either. Queen was matched at 38 because she was a 38 lb dog.Tornado could bite also and she could go the distance.This a true statement they both where aces and if they was matched one would diffidently lose .

 

she knew how 2 stay out of trouble but could slug it out if she had 2
