Which is healthier for a pup, a diet of canned and dry food or a raw/cooked diet? And which is better as far as meats eggs and veggies, raw or cooked? :dogtongue:

  2. Hands down, no contest, raw meat, organs, green tripe, RAW meaty bones. As far as vegetables are concerned; so say cooked is easer to digest, some say ground up raw is good, and others say if you feed the whole pray or green tripe, you don't need vegetables.

Is it more work to feed raw? Yes! Is it worth it? I say yes, but that's up to you. Do the research and find places to get the raw foods and make your decision. Lots of people feed raw so get advice from us.

Cooked bones (can splinter and kill) and cooked meats are no good. IMO!

    Good luck!

  3. Oh, and canned food for young dogs (dogs with teeth ;)) is no good. Do you like bad breath and rotten teeth....feed them canned food. My 16 year old lab died with bright white teeth and fresh breath. She got RAW meaty bones at least once a week.
