Looking for some Good Books...

Hi im new to the breed and just wanted to learn more about this breed. I been reading a lot of content in the internet and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction and tell me what are some good books that i could read for example the different bloodlines. I live in Los Angeles and ill i see here in my neighborhood are good for nothing American Bullies. Right now i have a five month puppy, I love my boy but is definitely not what would be consider a good game dog. Everyday im on the internet trying to learn as much as i can about this breed but have had trouble trying to figure out which bloodlines are good and which ones aren't. Im not planning on obtaining a dog any time soon so in the mean time i plan to learn as much as i can til the time is right. So any help is appreciated. Thank You.

Get the Richard Stratton books. Get them on Ebay fairly cheap. Thats how I started and have never looked back, eventually trying to get every book written on bulldogs.

 

Check out amazon.com Just like RicFlair I started off with some Stratton books on the breed. Even if you put Book(s) under Search (Above) you'll come across many post on good APBT books. Some will cost you but will be well worth it if you want a true, uncut depiction of the breed.

 

I was going through other post and someone mentioned the following books (pit bull bible, complete gamedog, stratton books).........can some one tell me a little more on these books before i decide to actually buy them.

the pit bull bible is a cali jack's book and the complete game dog is by ed and chris faron. the complete game dog book is limited so u need to jump on it.

I went to Amazon and The Complete Game Dog book was $398.00 :eek: ....is this really how much it's worth or is there somewhere else where is less.

 

Pit Bull Bible sucked. He copyed his stuff from other people.

You can buy it on ebay for $130.

 

u can get one from Ed himself signed with ur name for $150, i got it and its very good.
