fast lane has nothing to do with a dog itself. i understand what your saying but there are dogs with average mouth racing into fast lane comp. its more about the high end high dollar doggers not local races. thats what makes people want to bring in the hard mouth finisher because there is way more at stake in the fast lane. yet you still need a straight up bulldog to compete well in any level of comp imo.

well put purepit19, and i also agree with you mr futuristic on that last word. anyone can ruin any dog by hunting with him and screwing around to early, and the fastlane does seem to perfer a destroyer over an olden times all day bulldog, but in today's world you cant play with people and their money, never hurts to do a little mixing with mouth and game you'll always strike gold mixing eventually lol

I just made a, mayday (topside and line bred) to a redboy/jeep/Jocko bottom side. Any thoughts on this anybody would be appreciated. A longtime dogman told me I should have bred it to a buck bitch. I just noticed chosen few works with a similar line so I thought to follow along on what he's pioneering his name with. Cheers!

Thoughts on what? IMO it's not as cut and dry as you should have bred him to a bitch from this line or that. When someone tells you something like that, their either speaking from their own experience or something they saw or heard and neither will translate into success for YOU always. So in about 2-3 years you should have an idea of how this breeding went. But there is no crystal ball that will tell you before hand

    I agree with Cajun !
On another note because the chosen
Few are having success with their dogs
And bloodlines doesn't mean you will
Have similar success using the same
Said bloodlines it's more their individual
Dogs then bloodlines at least that's how
I see it...also I may be wrong but saying
Your breeding is based on what another
Person's work is kinda like riding coattails
And some people could take it as you breeding
Dogs off chosen few stock since you are trying
To compare your's and his...again I may be wrong
But that's the way I see it !

Cajun he's had no experience with mayday blood until 5 odd months ago, he's a Patrick's follower. And nm dogs what's wrong with following a certain formula, a lot of people are doing it. And no its not chosen fews dogs and never will be. All I asked is options on what this breeding could turn out like. Not your negative opinion nmdogs... This is what you could call the actual very first mayday breeding in my country... And everybody has Patrick's on there yard here and I wanted to be different anyway. Anybody with a hands on with that cross I'd love to hear back. Cheers

Opinions, not options sorry. Autocorrect lol, and in the bitch was a bit of yellowjohn already so I guess I've tightened that back up a bit anyhow

The breeding could be complete trash or it could yield great result...just depends on how the genetics line up, and the quality/qualities or lack there of of the parents, and ancestors. Either way it'll take awhile to know. So be patient n enjoy watching them grow. Sounds like that "long time dogman" still has a long way to go...

Thanks the.peon, as a whole out of the quality of the ancestors is great, and the main catalist would be redboy followed by jocko then jeep/patricks. This will be the latest new blood in my country so fingers crossed but i wont hold my breath

Can't expect anyone to tell you what to expect, hell I don't know what to expect when I breed two unless it's a repeat and even then it's not always the same as the first time. You could breed those lines together and get shitty results while someone else does the same and has good results . And if you don't want to hear anything negative it's best to not ask people's opinion....

Yep 100% i agree, if they can get it done in the time they need to then more power to them but in my personal experience i often see the hard biter rip around 1hr into an expert superior animal. They almost make the hard biting barn stormer like dumb or something. In my experience i owned alot of animals and in the end i just decided to own what i liked from over the years where the memories were. So i own jeep redboy rascal. Not because their better i just like them. Both these lines are capable. And both have an effective bite. Sport wise go with what isnt dead for no reason after an hour of being punked. So wind is where im at. And ability. Which both lines share equally. So for me its just what i like then. Peace.
