hey everyone sorry it has been so long since i was on the board but been busy busy busy.

I got a letter and then a phone call from a lady in CA who has a friend in TX that is in serious need to place 2 APBT's. This TX. lady's relative pasted away and left the 2 dogs without a home and the relatives are not able to care for them. They were house dogs! 1 male and 1 female from what was told to me, under 5 years old. A foster home until a forever home is found is needed ASAP! The family will put these poor dogs down very soon if help is not found for them. Spindletop phone numbers on the web site do not work. Every rescue group so far contacted will not take them due to the breed! If you know of someone in the area that would be a foster home or a rescue group that will take these dogs in please contact Holly ASAP These dogs have only a couple days left to live if a placement is not found!

This is the letter i got and Holly's number is includded.

Thank you if you can help in anyway.
Spread the word, beg a friend, please help these poor dogs that have already lost so much.

    Kimberly,
My name is Holly and I am in need of someone in the Houston area to rescue two pet pit bulls. They are very nice house dogs who have been raised together. My phone number is (909)717-6543. They will be put down very soon if I can not help them.

If someone else paid for it im sure we could find a ride to the airport for them. No way the daughter will transport or pay for the flight. Below is the lastest info i have on the situation. Thank you for reading the post!

information i just got about the TX dogs in urgent need!

I just got off the phone with Holly in CA and have more information about these 2 dogs.

The female is 3 yrs old - black and white - fixed and current on shots.

The male is 1 yr old - tan in color- fixed and current on shots.

Both dogs are kid friendly, housebroken, slept on the bed with the owner. The past owner was in a wheelchair so they are totaly use to medical equipment.

The last wish of the owner was to have her dogs sleep in the bed with her. One dogs wanted out of the room in the early morning hours. At about 10am the second dog scratched at the bed room door to be let out and that is when the in home caregiver found the woman had passed in her sleep. (sorry crying again) since that time the dogs have been kicked outside with almost no human contact. The daughter of the passed woman is deathly afraid of dogs in general and APBT's expecialy. She has been chucking food over the fence but that is as much contact as they have had since their owner passed. The daughter wants them GONE so she can clear the house and rent it. She has no love for these poor dogs at all and has a "friend" willing to put them down. This im sure means a bullent in the head! She can't even feed the dogs without a fence between them she certainly isn't going to load them in a car for a last trip to the vets to be PTS or pay the bill to do so.
The girl in CA, "Holly" who contacted me is begging for a few more days to give us time to locate a foster home. PLEASE if you live anywhere near Houston and can house them for even a few days it will help. HOURS COUNT RIGHT NOW! Their time is up if we can not get them out of that empty home. PLEASE HELP!
