It's abnormal I put a dog with someone like my cousin but I'm glad I took a chance and kept her close. I'm liking how she's turning out. He takes great care of her and between my cousin his wife and their daughter they baby the shit out that hound. Looks and acts just like a reddish version of her daddy.

 

Is that a bird she's ragging in the second pic? Got a pit cross who chases birds when she's bored in the yard, never catches em

 

Yea, he catches them out the air from time to time. I have a female here who's become pretty proficient at it too. They have a full canopy of trees over their spots and all the birds around here nest in my trees. Sometimes the parent birds swoop down on the dogs and many times they get snatched out the sky for doing it. Between the 2 I have here that go after birds they catch around 10 to 12 a year combined. My dog geachison caught himself a crow a few weeks ago. Normally it's just Robins though. Maybe a Cardnal or 2 as well.
