Redboy Family

This combo was very popular in the mid to late 90's in Eastern Carolinas area. Great animals.

 

Still is popular down there lol I got a buddy down that way who got some of that Robinson stuff from Mr. Foust http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=316767

 

Great trip through memory lane with that ped. Real high strung animals. Mr Robinson put very good hounds together.

 

what would be the best redboy strain to cross with alligator to bring the best qualities out ?

 

Breeding these animals is not like chemistry. Breeders who have successful hounds knew the history of both animals personally. Also depends what you intend to use the animals for. Are you a show weekend warrior? Are you gonna hog hunt? This question raises so many other questions.

 

I suggest find a good family of Redboy animals and go from there. Right now I'm adding the Mr.Bulldog(Harcore's Chance), and Robinson/Deacon stuff to my yard. But it's coming from working animals that are a bit private. I already have the stuff down directly off a son of Bailey's Bingo that wasn't ever bred out. So as you can tell I like the Redboy, Redboy/Jocko type of dogs. They are true to form and function. I've got a male coming off a Cottingham/Dynomite breeding we are doing again. That cross has been real successful.

 

I love baileys bingo where would be the best place to get something with a hard mouth down from him?

 

I want a all around real bulldog that has potential for hog hunting and work, confirmation shows are not that important to meI just want a solid working bulldog

I like the Redboy dogs, they bring a lot to the table but if u got a line bred Redboy dog thinking u bout to make a name with it then u fooling urself!!...now I kno some of u all are dedicated to the line hoping for a freak and a lot of u are kennel blind, still living in the past!...a lot has changed and so has the dogs!..it has to be outed to have any real success!..now I kno u cats gone come on here and try to prove me wrong!..lol...but that's wat I want!..it helps seperate true dogmen from play dogmen!

 

what would you suggest to cross with redboy crushbones ?

 

You can line breed anything and it'll get muddy. Those Shorty Cowboy dogs get to be ridiculous when they are linebred. Short legged useless dogs IMO. Redboy dogs need an out everyone knows this but I damn sure will take them over most of that Shorty Cowboy BS.

 

I like the shorty cowboy cause that is an extremely game line of eli dogs. I prefer redboy crosses though, as all but one of my dogs is a redboy cross.

 

I don't run it unless it's got that true bottom end in it(Redboy). Plus the Shorty Cowboy stuff aren't good Eli dogs. IMO I like the real Midnight Cowboy stuff(the old-school stuff) a lot better.

 

just picked me up this 4 yr old jeep/rb bitch with a bit of lonzo .... she seems to be ok, however i just picked her up this week and i havent fully gotten her figured out yet.....full of piss & vinegar though....

Sounds like a fun dog. I've never gotten into the Jeep/Redboy dogs. More of a Redboy/Jocko type of man. Or the Redboy/Boomerang type of blood. I also like adding a bit of Chinaman or good Eli blood in there. But not over a 50/50 split or favorably a 1/4 of it.

Wat shorty cowboy hounds have u seen and who had the hounds??..I hope u are able to name the hounds u seen or at least tell me wat they were coming off of...
