This was a weight pull demo I did at a monster turck event, the main moster truck was called the Pit Bull. We ran out of weight so we used one of the animal control officers.

 

Awesome! Hoped they learned something from it. Good looking workin dog.

These are not my dogs, so I hope its ok to post these. These were taken at the ADBA show in Sorrento, LA on march 21-22 2008. Let me know if you recognize any of these dogs.

I made my harnesses, except the one Havoc used in the point show, that is (I think) a Stillwater Harness..I was picky about the fit after seeing so many that were way too big so I figured I'd make my own lol

 

Oh I forgot to say Havoc looks soooo sexy pulling! look at those shoulders I love the one where he is standing in front of you.


The nice thing about Tablerock is that they are made to order not just generic sizes for sale. The harness I posted above was to big for candi. It was our fault for not measuring correctly but we sent it back and she made the adjustment. The new adjusted harness fits great. If you get a harness make sure you get one that is not premade, your want a nice fit for the safety of your dog.

I was thinking that one on Candi looked a little big on the shoulders, that's nice that she adjusted it though, and that purple looks great on her! And I agree, custom fit is way better, especially if you're going to get serious. I was told by one wp judge that an ill-fitting harness can cost your dog 2-3 pulls.

ETA: Monsoon looks like he really enjoys pulling! I wish Piston would get that enthusiastic about it!

There's a couple of UKC clubs out that way. Not sure about ADBA/AADR, though. There are occasionally APA and IWPA pulls too.
