Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has built a good septic system for their kennels? I found this website that gave an example, what do you think?

I can get the chemicals from the feed store to help break down the big stuff, but not sure if this way is going to work. Right now i'm having a problem with the yard smelling when it gets wet, mainly because it's all just mud under the grass, and it's on a hill. So drainage is horrible, i'm going to run a 110 ft. french drain across the yard for the water. But i'm trying to keep the smell down and the mud down to a minimum. Any ideas? I was reading on here that people are using lime for something? Is that just for killing pests? And bleach? Thanks again.

i use a post digger and and when the hole is almost full i fill it in with dirt...and make a new hole...my kennels are tiled and i use lynsol to wash them down..but if you can afford it a septic system sounds good..

hehe that's a good idea, it's not expensive to build if you really look at it. I've got to build a french drain all the way across the yard, so I might as well build that along with it.

These are one of the best waste removal ways around:
