I haven't gotten a dog in years. But I am in the market for a new dog now. I am located in Florida. Anyone have a recommendation?

  3. I had several problems with my dog because I couldn't find the best toys for him. Do you know about Dog Rope Toy Set? It's a brilliant trick which you can do with your dog. He will run around the room, and after a few steps, he will catch the rope and start to pull. You should pull slowly but surely so that your dog does not complain. The first time I tried this trick, my dog jumped up and down several times, but he wouldn't continue after a while, so I stopped. Try it, and your dog will be the happiest.

I like the red dogs that wear the cut vests made by Southern Cross. I like the Divine dogs. I like the Dogs bred from the Boogie man/ Going Light / Bowles(Nebbletts/McCoy.
I like the Captain Tru Game dogs.
Those are just a few off top of my head that are easy to find and sell to the public. Good luck and let us know how your journey goes.

Ever since my senior dog died of arthritis, I didn't want to have any more dogs because I felt guilty about his death. I blamed myself for not caring enough for him. But during the pandemic, I felt very alone, so I decided to adopt a dog, the same beagles breed. I took it from the dog shelter. He was a perfect companion while I was locked in the house. When we were to walk outside, I started to teach him some basic commands for dogs. I said it was time to be the best owner of my dog. I took a few lessons from trainer Alfred. He has a great blog about this breed of dog and how to train it at https://cleverpuppies.com/beagle-colors-and-patterns/

Where's The Colby? Believe you me Maurice Carver said it Best a quote, from The Silver Fox. A Bulldog just isn't A Real Bulldog unless it's got some Colby I'm it about! 95 of this world's greatest breed we have if you follow the pedigree back you will end up at the Colby yard. Yis " The Dex "

Dude you’re a cabbage. 95% go back to Colby? Try 99.9%. So what? 100% of these dogs do back to wild wolf type canines? So what? My cock relates back to my great great grandpa’s. Doesn’t mean he has any influence on what I do with it. Idiot.

Bro , I'm just quoting your good friend TDK. The conventional Colby dog of today has been unkempt in regard to what it once was. But there is a hidden counterpoint to that fact.
Remember that the top side of a popular dog, Jeep, was Colby. They were dogs akin and from a Mr. Gardiner (pronounced Gar dee nay) in Canada. There were also huge amounts of dogs on the Carver yard, yet they were not accounted for in how he wrote them up as being bred. He got many dogs from the likes of E. Crenshaw, Shivar, Loposay, Hinajosa of Mexico and Dr. Damm, also of Mexico.
We seem to lean on and rest upon the fraud we see and accept it. Yet given these facts, there is another reality to how much Colby is really out there.
Before anyone jumps funny, I have personally heard Maurice talk about these things. Then he would laugh. All a game to him. Gamesmanship. He just flatly didn't give a damn if you knew or didn't know.
Some of you have heard the old expression: "A dog just isn't a real dog unless it has some Colby in it." Guess who said that. Maurice Carver.
He housed Crenshaw's Snow, Stu Fowler and many others on his yard for many years. What? You don't see them on breedings? He never bred such dogs? Please. Stompanato, Art's Missy and many other dogs of renown had much hidden Colby in them.
Some one pointed out that the conventionally seen Colby dog of today isn't doing much. Whichever poster made that comment is correct for the most part. But.....It doesn't take away the hidden reality that there is much more of it in dogs today than will ever meet the eye. And many of THOSE dogs ARE doing something.
I don't know what the hell this has to do with scatterbred, but the thread veered this way, so I thought a comment as to the hidden reality was necessary and relevant.

...... take that!!!! lmao....hmmm so the lesson to learn is pick a hot contender of recent times (ideally brindle & white) then go on peds-on-line and rewrite your own pedigree to suit yours dreams perhaps under the name J.M Carver Colby III.....or should we go for another spin lol.

  17. I think the American Pitbull Terrier can make a good Emotional Support Animal. Pit bulls make excellent therapy dogs, but as with any breed, early socialization and obedience training are vital to a well-rounded dog. I got an ESA Letter at https://www.esaregistration.org/esa-letter/ to confirm his identity as an Emotional Support Animal, and I'm very thankful for it. Their natural love for people, their eager-to-please attitude, and their ability to withstand pain give them the innate ability to be tolerant in situations where some dogs may not be so.

What are you going to do when your emotional support therapy dog gets loose because you do not understand this breed and how to properly house and contain them? Do you really think early socialization and obedience training are going to enable you to take your therapy dog to the dog park? Do you understand the needs and responsibility of owning his breed?
