Got a couple collars in the mail today from Stoneshark Kennels. Big thanks for the speedy service! I like the collars a lot. Look and feel very well made. Very different from the nylon or seatbealt collars the dogs here are used too. Heavy duty for sure from the collar itself to the hardware.

Again thanks alot for the collars and good service.

  2. Glad they got to you. I have a hard time explaining these. They really are different and wear incredible, rated at 3,000 lbs per sq. inch. The hardware is souped up as well. Any issues let us know and Thank You.

Ssk..nice work. I love leather.on a bulldog. It is almost a proper thing I think. But not saying that the ok there collars don't have a place, as they all are bulldog strong.

  5. Thank You, these are not leather although it's an easy mistake. These will not stretch, will not stink, need zero upkeep to stay just as they are. Rain, snow, hot, cold, weather doesn't affect them.

Even to feel it you can easily mistake it for leather. It feels like horse gear material to me. That's about the only way I can describe it.

Right on. They sure look like leather. I had a belt bade.from.a.fella in the swamp. He is friend with Mr. B. He makes leather goods.
He had a prototype material at a national show I made few years back. I wonder if this is similar. Seemed a coated Kevlar type material.

I like the look of them. Sure pass as leather.

I wonder if this is similar to the stuff I mentioned above...

  9. It is Biothane, I have a belt made of it, actually just an oversized dog collar.

1.5" rated at 3000 lbs per sq inch, 2" rated at 6,000. I hooked my truck to my lawnmower with 2, 1.5" inch collars and pulled the truck up my drive. Hardware is on steroids as well. Stainless Steel, our collars are built to last. I would bet they outlast 3 generations of dogs. I won't be alive to see it so can't claim it.

I cleaned one up I took off a dog, been on him 3 years. Took one off a bitch today not cleaning it and taking both to the ADBA show this weekend along with 2 seatbelt collars for comparison. Those collars lasted 2.5, and 3 years on the yard.

Those are very Classy collars. I must say that I've never had a O'Brien's collar fail me...

  13. I have top of the line fleece lined one. Smells to high heaven and rusted hardwar
