I am looking at a tab x Frisco breeding, which I would then breed back to Jesse... Thoughts on that?

Well the first hurdle will be raising the pup up and seeing if she is worth being bred. I say find you a gyp that you like the way she works, who cares how its bred lol

Just one question, I see Jeep all over these bredings!!!What about Charlie????? Or was that private or not bred that much?? I know for sure he was bred to at least A few good gyps!

 

After the big win over homer,,, jeeps value as a stud dog sky rocketed as he was open at public stud,,,
Charlie on the other hand was private and not open to the public for stud,,,
the difference being one group was in it for the money and garrett soon cashed out after jeeps demise...
the other group was in it for themselves and money wasnt gonna determine what made them happy...
Ill take the second group personally...

 

Yah I know but after the death of one concerned person I just wondered if any hit outside the circle. I might of had A chance but in the wrong place at the wrong time! Sometimes with these dogs timing is everything!

 

Neither one of those dogs were worth being shown tbh. That's why both were quickly put back on the shelf.

 

As far as your dog is bred you can go any number of ways with that down the road. It's basically your typical jeep/redboy/rascal cross.

If you want to add more tab for whatever reason there's no end of dogs bred around Tab being bred and sold. You're a little late for anything directly off him but since you're in NY I'd get in contact with Triboro kennels and their Oklahoma Jack stuff. Real good dogmen.

 

If I'm reading this right, and you want confirmation and strength, I'd try and find some of that Neblet's stuff when you cross those line bred red nose dogs they get bigger and stronger, or I should say at least they did!!! Somebody more familiar with making those crosses now days might help! Good Luck

 

Thank you all very much for your replies. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you talking to someone who probably sounds like a total idiot. For some reason I'm not getting notifications when people respond.

Anyway, I strongly prefer something under 40 lbs conditioned because primarily my interest is weight pull and I just prefer to pull smaller dogs. Confirmation is of less importance to me, showing is far from my main interest and just something we would do for fun if it didn't conflict with a pull

I will definitely look up that kennel, naustroms... Thank you. I am willing to travel if necessary but closer is always helpful. What are your thoughts on Saint benedicts? Jesse's breeder had mentioned them as a possibility when I explained what I was looking to do.

You can buy frozen Semen from the owner of the dog. Not that that would help you if you already have a male dog, lol.

I've looked at that dog and others from the kennel but I feel like I could probably find something very similar without importing it
