We are happy to announce our judges for the April 21-22, 2012 show. They will be judging in this order: Ronnie Ewing, Gary Hammonds & Ceasar Davis. Our weight pull judge will be James Carrigan from GA.

AS for the alligator fansiers that ARE intrested. first major click was with the Eli/bullyson dogs tru Royce Black sister. with some catalist(as hammonds used to called it) Heinzl out.
these where a cut above the rest!!. from those crosses many a kennels and ore dogman got dogs from witch they could build intyer bloodlines/ famelies on.
The Tonka Redbaron crosses proved to be the chizel as wel for generations douwn the line..
. the very best being bred into those alligator eli/heinzle dogs the world has seen was (here you go old Goat) back then was with Nelis Rom.

G hammonds also had some good sucses with the stompenato and other carver crosses with comes douwn to alot of the old Ed Grenshaw blood!! , but we havend heard ore seen mutch of that blood around today. im sure its still around somwhere.
i would like to see some old stu fowler grenshaw reno blood(stompenato) bloodlines to be crossed back in today. as M carvers best dogs from witch he canged the ped of where from grenshaw!!!.
there have been manny croses made from bolio to stubelfieds buddy(kingfish) blood
But the most proven crosses where the Eli bully and the Tug rom croses. and alto Rufus was a 3/4 satin lady bred dog and 1/4 nigger he produced more Alligator/tudogs nigger trowback dogs like his daddy then many others dogs.... my sirguestion try to get some of that Old (hall and longs)Victor wichels, CH stomper blood to be bred in the ""tighter"" bred alligator trowback dogs of today, its rare but still around. some guys in canada found it and seem to have sucses up there.
Back then the Ruffus blood/click seem to have produced the best dogs tru

anyone seeing or knowing the spike/ nelis/ tug blood will be in no doubt as to its place in 'bulldog' history, i feel it will probably be another 20 years before people realise how significent this blood was...

limey you live in alittle world of your own . nelis and tug you say were the best . i say yall not you had some good dogs but they were'nt the best . you have to go into the best to know that one . keep selling the pups you say your not doing .

 

speaking up for limey and the 'limey' dogs....the theatre they were campaigned in was comprised of the best of the rest in europe at the time and the mayfield blood seen in europe at the time were not the sort to grab the eye at show time....no one at pit side ever tried to breed to the losing mayfield dog!
as to speaking like mayfield, with a lot of limeys comments he does hit the same notes, he reads from the same hymn sheet....but without the labour of listening or reading through hours of complete and utter bewildering rambling.....
it seems that limey has the ability to get to some people, he tends not to respect the sacred cows, i hope history sees him as a force for good....i enjoy his posts!

 

i did'nt say anything about the mayfield dogs . i'm talking about if you have good dogs or your a good conditioner . you don't have to tell anyone . they will know on their own if your that good . he's talking about the best the world has seen . sounds like a peddler to me . there's lots of dogs everywhere . it takes a stranger guy to say theirs was the best . did he go see the rest ? and some of them crosses have been made already . you just have to know where to look .

I like BDB's Frisco/Alligator crosses too.

By the way, I really enjoy reading all posts of Limey knl. If you don't like it, just don't read it. It's simple.

 

Those crosses weren't made by bdb they were bred by hardline and those are bulldogs through and through I would feed them without a second thought.

im not a friend of LK,i was never a fan of the cross's they used,i had reid blood via capone/lucy/trudy and even a son of zak,but i never had the impression that LK was or is a peddler,nelis and tug were not only producers but very good producers,that blood only went public via a few dogs late on in the UK,i think black nalius out of ch smuggler was the 1st dog of heavy LK breeding i saw go public,not there doing but the owners and now i say fair play for using the aligator blood even back then
