are there any staffords out there within northern ireland that people would rate highly? hear about dogs in england etc but hear very little of dogs from here. id say many men just keep cards close to their chests about what they've got here because of bsl etc and anything with long legs is considered a pitbull but just curious to know

kinda figured that from the amount of views of the post but the lack of replies, only asking cos im from the north myself and intrigued as to whats around so figured id ask but wasnt expecting much. can completely understand them keeping it to themselves to be honest cos the situation here is crap.

I live in NI m8 and even just walking my dog around the place we get evil stares / looks of horror and people crossing the road to avoid our dog. Biggest damn issue for me is the same people around here letting their dogs run about of their leads and they try to attack my Staffy. Always this older womans damn highland terrier. I know there is a bar in East Belfast that has a Stafford lounge and dog men go there. Some are breeders and some do Staffy show dogs, which I am not into. Never been to the bar and no interest in going either but heard it is meant to be decent.

Dont even bother going near it few pics of show champions on the wall and a mirror above the bar hatch with stafford lounge on it ,a wee corner unit with a few show trophys in it ,were a few "bottle of stout dogmen " all showdog men go on a friday night
Plus not a bar amenable to all, you know what I mean .

lads was wondering if any of you's may be able to help, i've a staff dog here that i'm looking a good home for. not looking anything for the dog, as i say just a good home. dog is 15 months,he's a nice bidable dog, reared with kids and sound with other dogs at the minute, 15 1/2 ats, so not a big dog, not a bad looking dog and comes from Tom Barrys stuff. if interested pm for more details, dog is in Belfast.

100% agree, not the sort of bar most can go to. I only knew of it due to dealing with people within the " Staffy " community.

Palooka, lovelt dog you have there. Sorry to hear you have to get rid of it. I am holding out for an APBT for my next dog. Wont be for a few years to come though.

    Huh??
You seem offended at people not wanting to go to that particular bar??
And no, I do not need to grow up at 30 years old. How rather antagonistic your post was.

LOL you are joking arent you, you might have got a couple who knew their stuff in the old Oakley but after what happened there that soon died .
Tell you what name a few dogs that have come from them that achieved anything outside of the showring .
One I could name and that was !!!!!!
