<table id="post61" class="tborder" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%" align="center" border="0"><tbody><tr valign="top"><td class="alt1" id="td_post_61" style="border-style: none solid none none; border-color: -moz-use-text-color rgb(48, 34, 23) -moz-use-text-color -moz-use-text-color; border-width: 0px 1px 0px 0px; padding: 4px 0px 2px; background-image: url(images/gradients/pb_back.gif); background-repeat: repeat-x;">Its really sad how they (hsus), and other organizations paint a picture of us and are dogs. In this lil' rant ill go over different pieces of so called dog fighting equipment and point out how they are really just for the health of your dog, and improve the life of your dog APBT OR ANY WORKING DOG (Not am bullies).

Treadmill: Carpet or slant does not matter. What matters about a mill is how free spinning it is anyway...A mill will allow you to do many things. For example who's going to go outside and run miles in the pouring rain with their dog to make sure he/she gets their daily exercise? Not many people I know of would do that. It also feeds your high spirited dogs need to exercise, and work if you cant for whatever reason.

Breaking stick: Not only APBT equipment no matter what people tell you. Any owner of a dog with high prey drive or personal protection dog, or working dog period should own one. Its the responsible thing to do. Go buy or make you a good solid breaking stick. Although the have been used in dog fights and what have you its a good piece of equipment to have a added lil piece of insurance if you will. Just makes sense to me.

Spring pole/Flirt-pole: No they are not the same thing I just decided to group them together. They are just another tool to use to work a dog keep him in shape, and feed his/her need to work. The hsus people would have you believe that they are used to strengthen the dogs jaws, and what have you that is nothing more than made up foolishness to try to take are dogs away from us.

Breeding Stand: This is another useful piece of equipment to help with trouble free breeding. It makes it easier to breed dogs from working stock
it is safer for the dogs, and people involved. Who wants their dogs reproductive organs to get damaged by a uncooperative female? Also the HSUS people call it a "rape stand" guess what DOGS DO NOT HAVE ANY CONCEPT OF RAPE no matter how much we all love, and care for are dogs they are still animals and cant comprehend that plain of thought.

Thanks for your time in reading my post and feel free to tell me what yall think. I am looking forward to hearing what yall think about it.

Great post. Most people think that just regular ol' training of a dog is abuse anymore...jeez. I for one have a PP dog that is a Dobe and I have a breaking stick for him! It doesn't really work the same (did it with a civil scenario in bitework), but it at least makes him release quicker! It is a safety measure and EXCUSE ME for wanting to be RESPONSIBLE!! We use flirt poles all the time to build puppy drive! What is so wrong with that?!

Again, great post and I back you 100%

Thank you. Most people just don't get the needs of a working dog. My neighbors breed German Sheps for PP, and they MAKE and SELL their sticks. Not once has anyone even made mention of that. I wish people would actually think before they make their own dessision about what someone else is doing for their dog. Good post bro.

Another thing that gets me is how folks now a days raise such a fuss about chaining your dog. Passing laws and chaining themselves in some cases to make a point. To me that is one of the most idiotic things going around right now.

But if you look in Alaska and find the men who raise sled dogs whether for competition or to get them from point A to point B in that harsh climate, All you will see is either hand built dog houses or the store bought igloo dog houses and they are on about a 5 foot chain set up just like a bulldog. You don't catch them ever saying a thing about that and I would be willing to bet they wouldn't want to chain themselves to make a point out there.
