A Frisco X Redboy has been done but did not work out that well. I would love to see what would this breeding bring to the table.

I had a Frisco/Redboy male (Redboy coming from a double bred Cottingham Bear bitch) and he was a very very good one.

  10. I've seen jeep/redboy/eli (remember how honeybunch was actually bred!)

They looked alright to me, but more than the blood it depends havily on the dogs that are upfront in the ped.

Here in Sunny Southern Africa the Eli / RedBoy cross was done with some success back in the early 90's:-
    _____________Bell's Hollywood_____CH. Rebel's Sundance
    ____K.Botha's Sundance___________Alexander's Diamond Lil
    _____________Bell's Lady (imp.)_____CH. Rebel's Sundance
    CH.Sigmerson's LITTLE BOY________Boyd & Stephenson's Mad Maggie(imp.)
    _____________Tant's David(imp.)____GR(CH) Tant's Yellow
    ____K.Botha's Jocko_______________Tant's Miss RedBoy(Tant's Bob x Belle)
    _____________Tant's Tanny_________GR(CH) Tant's Yellow
    _________________________________Tant's Miss RedBoy
Little Boy did quit but he's sister Thunder was game 1xW.
K.Botha's Sundance's littermate Marius' Kojack was put over Jocko's littersister Marius' Alex and out of eight that were boxed all proved game with only one actually losing. The Kojack x Alex litter had wind , mouth , smarts & gameness.
NB. This was all back in the day and the all the owners of these dogs are all no longer around.

Not sure why this thread makes that cross out to be brand new. It's an old cross, and probably the best proven cross in all of game dog history. TAB, TRAMP.....So on. The Jeep(a.ka ELI) x redboy cross produced phenominal dogs and is responsible for some of the best bloods brewing today.I.e. Gator, Blackjack, Wierd Jack, Rockhead, Ernie....so on. Also known to produce when bred back to either line, and/or outcrossed.

  18. I was just saying that since Jeeps dam was an eli/carver/loposay dog...mixing that back into tight Eli blood is a no brainer IMO.

I still contend that the biggest determining factor though are the dogs up front and not necessarily the blood...

    nice post CBASS.

I dont know about that cross being made that way but i do know people who run a jeep/redboy/frisco cross which is in essence jeep/redboy/eli/carver
