You need to know how many grams per serving is your particular protein supplement measures. I like to to give 10g for a 40lb dog.

The problem with protien suppliments ,a body can only use so much preotien in a day..Maximum muscle growth you need 1 gram of protien per lb of body weight ,so if you weight 240 means u would need 240 grams of protein per day...the problem is your not going to work out hard enough to use all of the protein unless your aa professional body builder..In a keep no matter how hard you work your dog i wouldnt go over a gram per pound..I wouldnt use it anyway! So if your giving your dog 1 gram per lb supliment ,plus his food ..thats way too much protein.IMOl...like someone else said with good food <i dont think u need much more.Again this is my OP

as far as creatine its a great way to get over the hump if your stuck on a certain weight ,in weight lifting...it will get you over the hump ,i dont think thier is and advantage of using it every day unless you just want your muscles to look bigger..and if u do use it u have to stay away from cafiene..it will council out the creatine..as far as using it on dogs ,I have no clue on the outcome,or the advantage or disadvantages..probably hasnt been enough research or any at all , as far as creatine use for dogs..not sure i would want my dogs to be the test dummy ..but do what you please..thier your dogs.

The creatine and whey isn't to make your dog look like shrek it's to aid in recovery and allow for high intensity workouts for a longer period of time. Just feeding creatine isn't going to make you or your dog balloon up to be the hulk without any work. He'll just end up having high protein farts. This goes for any supplements, anabolics or testosterone.

I have lifted weights and used both creatine and protien ,I used some creatine called Cell Tech it was the best I ever tried..Creatine is full of sugar unless they have sugar free now which i doubt. And it will help you work out longer ,and it will and does make your muscles hold water which makes them look bigger. its full of sugar is why I wouldnt use it..You also have to drink alot more water when you use creatiine.I think B 12 would do just as good ,with out all the sugar. B 12 from Organ meat just as good.

There is no real good answer as to the amount of sugar you should use... what you are aiming for is an insulin spike to push the creatine into cells. If you are taking it post workout, you might need a lot of help there (so a good amount of sugar) because insulin is very low at that time; same with early AM. If you are just taking it in mid-day, you may not need as much since insulin level is reasonably high already. It also depends on the GI of the sugars you are using.

i like sum good quailty food(i usually use diamond hi energy) and exercise. like its been said the trick is to make ur dog as fit as possible without losing things like wind, its a balancing act to make the dog the best IT can be not trying to add a bunch of muscele they r naturally athletic they can gain and lose weight very easy and can add muscele very easy theyre not like ppl when it comes to getting in shape. that rf1 supp dnt sound bad but i try to only give advise on things ive seen wrk (but ill def be trying that to)

Deer meat is 99% lean meat throw some avacados in there, once a week some tuna screw all these b.s additives creatine dries the dog out and i never heard of using whey for a dog nothing is better than a good diet

ive always been told and read to stay away from the avocados. they are good for us humans but i thought they were bad for dogs.

supplement now adays have caffeine in them for that added rush that the users look for in the gym. if using human supplements i would make sure to look the info up and make sure there is no added caffeine in the supplement your using for the dog

I have wonered about this if it would dry a dog out..I use to take creatine and I pounded water all day long even when I wasnt thirsty because it tells you to drink alot of water and also I would piss alot..Thing with a dog he aint gone make himself drink water when he isnt thirsty. So I wondered about dehydration.

It def dries the dog out,I think the negatives out weigh the positives when it comes to creatine

1000g pack of lean mince a day with some good other bits would be good for the dog red meat has creatine in it.

An adult dog requires approximately one gram of protein suitable for kilogram of body weight per day. A 50 kg dog need to 50 g. protein / day in normal activity. If you are in a program of weight lifting exercises its demand could reach up to twice.

to much protien will damage your dog's kidneys most likely you will do more damage than good to your dog with this stuff

i used cell tech b4.it worked for me but i didnt buy again after the first bucket.U do need to drink lots of water. And no based on my experience with that product i would not recommend giving it or anything like it to a dog.And you can get the same results if u increase your natural protein input and up your cardio including longer workouts with lighter weights.I have found that repetition is not necessary.Whats important is sustained workout for longer period of time each time you workout then rest. This is what worked for me and the dogs i had.Im not an expert by any means these just my experience so dont take it to heart.

Any creatine is too much for your dog it has been shown to dry out tendons and muscle which causes pulls and tears ,Alot of pro body builders were using it late 80s alot of them retired after major tears to insertion points (where muscle and tendons meet ) Sure they make more muscular defined but for anything thats shall we say 'wrestling' it is counter productive
