The match I just talked about both dogs were game just so much damage done on both sides.

An ACE is LIMITED to one per dedicated dogman per lifetime,,, same with a good women that will put up with your obsession chasing that once in a lifetime ACE...

Alot of dogmen will never see one,,, let alone call one thier own... an Ace and a good women,,,lol...

I think equally important is the person that allows that ACE to shine under the best compitition...
Behind every ACE is a GOOD DOGMAN and behind both of them is usually a GREAT WOMEN...(should be the saying atleast)...

My buddy Malik understood that his ACE IBM was a once in a lifetime bulldog and took a card out of IBMs deck and aced other endevors...
The reason I pump IBMs name so loud is because my internet bully mentor ironmike claims IBM ducked Gambler,,, but what got me is when a man practically born into the dogs and breeding since 1969,,, mr norrad fails to under stand what an ACE is and claims IBM was far from it but never seen the dog???
IBM desearves better than for some old timer that should have retained enough knowledge by now to no what an ACE is,,, and give them credit...

A dog that quits isn't/wasn't an ace they're a top running or front running cur. A great combat dog but not a game dog. There are many stories of amazing dogs that were seemingly unbeatable to then quit.

 

The man that had Juice was in the army stationed in my area for a bit,,, I tried to breed to him and had everything lined up...
nine eleven hit and he was sent overseas and the dog was sent back to his partner,,, not till later did I realize what a great dog he was...
I dont know about ace but Marvels Pistol was also nice bred from the same old vietnam line of carver dogs...

Titere has a few winner's on the ground. But in terms of Ace's they come along once in lifetime. Throw Pit General in there also

 

Okay,,,you got me here,,, after rethinking my post I think any dog thats of ACE quality deserves thier name as a line such as going light barney...

On the other a hand a no title dog better really produce well to get thier name as a line such as frisco...

 

Slim12 sounds like it to me most people think that to be an ace you have to remain untouched I think the exact opposite for the simple fact that the untouched dog may not have the mental stability to hit the bottom and come back to win simply making him a rough cur....which to me one of the most important traits for a ace to posses is mental stability that calm look in their eyes in the worst situation

I'd probably lean more towards a freak since he never produced anything worth wild. Fantastic dog though under which ever label you choose to use for him.
