The true dogman

It seem's that no matter what game dog forum you go on today there is always someone bad mouthing one dogman or another, one kennel or another.

From world wide dog shipping peddler to the back yard game dog pretty ped puppy mill peddler to the paper hanging fraud man.

Something that does seem to get neglected is that of the true working kennel. The all around dogman who breeds his stock, works with his stock, competes with his stock in all legal sporting activities and who when they have larger litters let some go to the public.

These men and woman often times are unknown to the common bulldog fancier and are not house hold names except to those in that very elite circle. You will not find them on chat forums bragging about their dogs and when they are members they are humble, they are mentors to those smart enough to see them as such.

There may not be as many as once was but there are more then you may think and their dogs are are shown on the world stage of the sporting world.

For those in the know how lucky we are to brush shoulders with these fine men and woman and to one day emulate the teachings of such working kennels.

Yeah...the true dogman...the working kennel...God I love this breed you have given us.

To get dogs from both are members

Sad thing is some still won't get it.
Some were just brought up wrong with this.
Feeling to need to tear someone else down thinking they may build themselves up but only make themselves look bad.
Mostly fools & youngsters scared talking about dogs they haven't seen or people they don't know.
Feeling they know it all because what's in books & the internet until they meet a real dog man doing his own thing. Everybody are not followers .
Leaders doing there own thing.If don't lead anything but themselves because usually those are the ones that last the longest in this thing.
Wasn't any problem that didn't get fixed with a handshake & a 6 pack of beer for the winner. That's why OTC's are so important &happened so much.

These are mostly pedigree pimps living on other people work.

It doesn't. You can buy every Patrick dog ever bred. If you ain't Patrick then you ain't did nothing but buy dogs.
And you surely don't have more time & experience as someone else because you bought a dog.
If that isn't your name & work you did then it's just propaganda.
Until folks figure out some of these things , times will just get worse. These are the fundamentals of being a dog man.

A true dogman to me, is one that is well hearsed in breeding, raising, conditioning, and ac. He or she is also a carpenter, welder, a truth seeker and really loves the breed... imho shout out to the few!!!
