the leg bones sometimes are the ones that splinter . i feed a lot and sometime they are to much trouble so i cut then out .

I've always heard the backs are the worst in deer. The leg bones I have don't look very tough, pretty small and I think a beef rib would put up more of a fight than these but I'll watch them close

As young as weening kenito. I personally leave the bones out for safe measure till theyre about 4 months...but I know folks who feed whole quarters to 8 week old pups & theyre fine....

I've fed leg quarters at 5 weeks and they do fine. They''ll either make or not.

    Quick question
When feeding raw is it okay to switch between raw and kibble for example kibble mon tues thurs and sat then raw on weds and sun?

Its fine if your dog is okay with it, some dogs guts don't handle it well, most do though

It'll work. I fed a raw meal in the morning and a kibble meal at night for a long time before I went fully to raw with my house dog. He never had a problem

question, was that kong frozen haha??? im very curious and impressed that a black kong ended up like that, how long did it take. those are the only toys that can last my boy any decent time and he is very hard mouthed.

Yes, the Kong was stuffed and then frozen overnight before giving it. She managed to do this in about 3 hours while i was gone for Xmas dinner

Yea its not uncommon for dogs to destroy these in an hour or less. I've seen dogs start to destroy them in minutes

So don't get me wrong lol, i would love for you to prove me wrong because i find that very impressive. But i highly doubt many dogs on here could shred an xl black kong in 3 hours or less.....
