Bolio dogs

That I don't know, never thought to ask. Someone very well respected told me. They were there when it happened. Maybe he'll Chine in when he sees this.

that be nice becuase i know who told you that. dont think he was there thugh. when i went to see the dog like two years ago he looked real clean to me just normal ware and tare.

 

I sure don't wanna start a debate or anything, but in all lines you've got dogs that quitn like Bullyson eg, yet he became one the most prolific producers of winning dogs. I think was most knowledgeable on these dogs and either saw something in that dog to make ime worthy of breeding, or bred him before he was looked at.
Not right or wrong, just my thoughts.

 

Well for every Bullyson there has been 5 million dogs who weren't shit and didn't produce shit either. Dogs like Bullyson, Bo, Rascal and snooty are the exceptions, not the rule... He bred the dog and anybody else that continues to breed the dog is doing so most likely for monetary reasons.

 

the only way i run my bolio is in my tombstone/bolio/redboy/jocko cross that is a proven cross that has done it everytime. I was looking for a pure bolio bitch at one point in time and i was introduced to a fella that breeds and competes with the bolio shit. I can see if he will deal with someone else cause like all real dog men you have to get recommended by someone for them to deal with you.

 

yea rock but i think thats only true cuz the majority of folks breedin dogs dont know how to breed dogs. you got these folka that know how to WORK, & HANDLE dogs but just because they can do that doesnt mean they have the understanding that they think they do. so what do they do, they breed theyre dogs and come out with shitty dogs.

if everybody who bred theyre dogs actually KNEW how to breed dogs, we would prolly have a lot more bullysons and snootys!

 

theres always VR and TG has Hickson thats pretty heavy in the LEaver Red/Paddy kinda stuff.

 

Oh I'm not knocking R.B. or Boyle's dogs at all, personally I love the damn line above all others regardless of what dogs 2 or 4 or 6 generations back did. I prefer to look at the dogs in front of me rather than on black n white. Pedigrees don't tell you what the dog is about, the individual in front of you will. I do like pretty pedigrees as most do but they aren't worth the paper they're wrote on if they can't perform regardless of how they're bred. However, certain dogs I don't want anything to do with. Tobacco road is one of them dogs. Jethro would be another. We all got our personal prefrences.

 

whaat about the dog that bred like shit and can perform?? at some point a pedigree does come into play. i know that was irrelevant but had to throw it out there.

AGK and R'nR, I hear yall but ya missing my point and that was that) in my opinion was the superior knowledge on the line he produced and that's why he was successful at what he was doing. He knew them dogs very well like I'm knows his Red Devil stuff and when you know why some dogs look like that and act like that you damn well know they gonna produce like that. I also have my preferences, but the Boyles/Bolio dogs are what I love...

I guess it depends on how u want it. Do you want Ch Reno or Ch Bolt Action I loved both and some dogs down from both, it had nothing to do with superior knowledge it has everything to do with $$$.. That's how you begin to lose quality real quick..

 

I know this dude, all he does is talk about Tobacco Road. He was born, bred, and raised there.

 

he sure had something becuase he didnt match anything. i think the popularity was due to him producing first class dog and others showing well and producing the same.
