Ok guys here's a compromise - no new legislation about animal rights/welfare, but let me hunt down the peeps who abuse them; I'd be glad to cull those pieces of $hit and mount them on my wall with zero time in the courts wasted!

ADM animal welfare is feeding your livestock , proper houses , medical treatment regular upkeep. animal rights is a chicken or rat having the same rights as i do. big difference between the two.

we are all entitled to our own opinions though.

 

How can you even mention animal rights or have an opinion on the subject if you're talking about limited human rights and denying other human beings the right to live or even the basic right to make mistakes. We are humans, this is our society, built by us for us. Not animals.

I see pieces of human garbage every day who aren't worth the steaming pile my dog leaves on our walks. Yes, some people are great, but the majority aren't. I once saw a bumper sticker that said something like "The more time I spend with my dog, the less I like people."

we (animals) built these living conditions for our species, but we share the earth with other species that want to live and thrive just as much as you do. they just dont have the intelligence to do it.
we give them roles & jobs to thrive in this world along with us, but because they are less inteligent they get no rights, which is ok. BUT doesnt mean it should be acceptable for us to take advantage of that.

Some research was just done about pigs feelings,they say they can tell if they are happy or not.
