how long spring pole

how long do you guys work your dogs on the spring pole for? i usually only let my dog work it for 10mins, because we do it after the runs so after 10 mins of it he goes half ass

 

Don't wait until he's half ass with it. Only work him on it as much as 5 minutes....

 

why exactly is that?

 

Its pavlov's experiment, dog associates bell with food slobber everywhere same thing with the pole he can associate it with getting wore out and therefore will.

 

Make it a treat. I'll leave him wanting more. So when you bring it out and he sees it, he goes ape shit.

once i hook my males favorite toy up he goes crazy ....i do the spring pole sometimes 4 times a day in like 15 min timetables. he goes nuts evreytime its up

 

mines goes for 1 hour before feed, then i wait until later the day and do a 1 hour again. I do this in the winter only cause there is no other source of exercise until i actually get a mill.

 

i cant even amagine an hour of spring pole! my dog makes enough noise as is, an hour and its gonna sound like im killing him!
