This is my families new girl 9 weeks old and I actually took her on at 4 1/2 weeks, the mothers milk was starting to slow down and now she is doing very well, 16.4 pounds and had her first shots my male dog LOVES this Pup, At this time I have a separate kennel for male dog if the future proves a need but as of now he is raising the pup along with me my wife and kids and the poodle.

As to how she’s bred, well have you ever traced any pedigree back and back till you get to unknown? :)

I did see her parents and one of these days I need to get some pictures of them when I took all into consideration of the parents - hair texture ,size of dogs ,color, head size and other factors I felt they were not mutts, not even a little . He also showed me pictures of other dogs he had years previous, but the owner was clear about that he does not fight his dogs

Kind of true but your dogs tail has a very strong curl .Man your dog likes to get about on the trail for the hunt.

Hey Pit5 do your pretty dog a favor and dont let her be fat like her parents. They look handi-cap there trying to play in the picture it looks funny. I bet if those dogs were conditioned it would be much more entertaining, you might be amazed the speed and agility she might have if shes properly conditioned. Too many people keep their Pits fat i just saw a lady inside Petsmart with a PB with a waist thicker thicker than the shoulders i couldnt believe it.

Since I feel I am lucky that my wife goes along and loves the PBs I do try to keep them trim, but my wife likes to keep them a bit more heavy then i would but, next to most dogs are still trim. As of now the pup is trim and I am working hard on my male dog and slowly getting him trim ,but when the cats away the mice play . In the end my wife will give the dogs left over’s like chicken , spaghetti , ETC. still I take them to work a few days a week and feed the foods I want only so I have a balance of some kind . . I look at the pictures of many of the worked PBs and I am in awe, but that look comes with very high energy that for me may be to much for wife , kids with PBs

You have a young pup there, don't worry about her being trim right now.Let her eat and PLAY like a pup.I like to feed pups 4 x a day with atleast 1 of the meals hand fed for trainning. But her sire and dam are F.A.T fat.

Yeah, I agree she is only a pup and needs to eat, you can worry about that after she gets to be a year old, but she doesn't need table food, it can kill them:)
