Re: Pit bull trying to protect his master on Manhattan st gets shot in the head by po
I somewhat agree with you 87buick, there's always 3 sides to every story - My side, Your side and the TRUTH.
Alot of stuff gets twisted in the reporting, just like every dog attack is reported as a pitbull or pitbull mix.
I agree if a loose dog is trying to put the bite on ME and I have the right to shot it (it's dead first shot), but if it's just barking at me that's another thing.
Peace officers have a tough job and there good ones and the bad ones (criminals w/ a badge).
Got to respect what they do.

Listen Buick, please don't hold back your thoughts anymore. You know what they say about built up frustration.

Re: Pit bull trying to protect his master on Manhattan st gets shot in the head by po
I saw a survaillence tape that showed the ENTIRE incident. The cops DID NOT kick the man at all. The police, fire, and EMS got dispatched and the police arrived there first and nudged the guy to see if he was responsive, they did NOT kick him. The dog was getting agitated so the cops called for their ESU to come witha noose to get the dog off of the scene but then the dog went for the lady's ankle, the one cop moved forward and the dog charged, thus prompting the shooting. BTW the EMS was on it's way the whole time so the guy was getting taken care of.

what i dont agree was that the cops forgot the guy for some time after killing the dog..
but a dog should not be off leash like that and biting people, not no agressive biting, just protecting but it happend
