I like Onyx.. who I believe is one of many SBT that have some colby way in the back of the back, from when bull N terriers were fresh from England and Ireland.

That may be off, but it seemed like he told me that there were and I may be off it may be from belly mates of the same stock he said but it was something like that. If theres a mistake in there its probably in translation, but I was sure thats what he said to me but again I may be off. Happens now and then. I could see it, it makes sense to me when I look at the beggining of Colby and Con Feeley its all SBT basically and Colby even states that in his book. Either way thats the best lookin SBT I've seen in a while.

Staffordshire bull terrier is a kennel club name invented in 1930s... 40+ years after Colby started breeding ... there was no dog called a Staffordshire bull terrier when he got into them... American Staffordshire terriers ware the same breed as APBTs the American KC changed the name to Staffordshire terriers in 1936.... so how can there be staffordshires be in the Colby line ?

the dogs ware in every part of the British isles ...only the dogs reg'd by the kc to be show dogs are called SBT ..no such breed before the before 1930s... so how could they be in a breed that is older ?

    You sir are not correct.

...there were dogs well before KC recognition called by the name staffordshire bull terrier, I found a want add froma british publication ..a man looking for a staffordshire bull terrier from 1870 ..ill look for it again and post it again...the name and the dogs were around long before KC recognition.
