While I have family in the DC area, they may get pissed off with my next statement, but its true. DC, for some reason, has put out very few great fighters! I think I seen Peterson's debut on hbo, and the whole story of growing up on the streets. Thats what I remember most about Peterson's fight! If he looks bad in his home town, he may want to get out of town after the fight lol. Thats why I'm excited about Russell Jr. Not only because my uncle lived blocks away from where he hails from, but he also looks like the best fighter to come out of DC since Ray Leonard.
I'm going with Khan, and sad to say, its not going to be close IMO.

Lamont fought the best fight of his career!!! Got to give credit where credit is due. Yeah, the ref. may have helped a bit, but what do you expect in D.C. lol. I'm not a big Khan fan either. I think he has been more hype than fight. I remember all the hype for his first fight on hbo(?), only to get ko'd. He can box, but that's it. No doubt he was good as an amature, fast and technical. I think he lacks power though, better re-consider moving up in weight!

Exactly, he still fights like a amature,he has no inside game nor can he fight off the back foot. Khan has to have distance to be effective...you crowd him and he looks lost. He ran around like a chicken **** all night...Lamont displayed a beautiful body attack and Khan had no answer. Freddy cock roach is being exposed as a overrated trainer!! hahahaha i love it!!!

I was thinking the Same about roach....Jorge Linares Lost, Manny Lost(HeHe-_-) Ok,ok But it was too close to call and Now Khan.... Im Not saying he isnt good cuz he trains CH. but i think he slippin'

Your right and what gets Me with Mr. 5 time Trainer of the Year Mr. International HOF'er Trainer doesnt come to play with a backup plan/Contingency plan..... IDK if that is a sign of being cocky or what but clearly on these last few fights he should have adjusted his game plan I saw it More evidently with the Pacman Marquez fight Pacman was trying to adjust but just couldnt which tells me they really didnt work on any adjustments, more like they talked about it....JMHO

To Me the Simple fact of the Matter, Khan will not prosper in 147 Cl***, He can Barely take a 140Pounder punch, Now just imagine Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz, Juan Manuel Marquez Hittin that Dude, Not gonna Happen, I think Khan would be wise to leave wild card and go train with Nacho...LOL

They asked Jim if he thought Chavez would accept the rigjt and Martinez said, we have asked and asked for this fight and I don't see him agreeing to it now, also asked him if he would fight cotto, he said anyone within the middleweight division

I think the first problem is the promoters. I dont see any promoter throwing a fighter in with Martinez right now, that would be like taking a chance of losing your payday down the garbage disposal. There currently may be 2 or 3 fighters that could give Martinez a fight RIGHT NOW , and Cotto or Chavez Jr. arent in the list lol. Maybe Chavez Jr. in the future, I dont know. I havent seen him fight but once, so I really cant gauge his skills, other than to say he isnt ready for Martinez.
Martinez is a pretty bad MOFO, I still have a hard time watching that ko he put on the "Punisher"!
