New Here- Looking for Reputable Line In OH
Greetings folks, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good kennels in OH? I've done some research, but all I can find is the RE stuff and various other cartoonish looking bully's near central OH. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Brought this guy up from GA when I moved back. I never got info about his lineage but he's a good dog nonetheless.

Thanks, it' been a while since I ran anything, guess I'll have to see what's out there. And from what I've been reading there might be some changes coming soon. Also, I wouldn't have come back here if it wasn't for the job offer...if you weren't on the other side of the state I'd suggest you check out the Football Hall of Fame.

Re: New Here- Looking for Reputable Line In OH
Just about like many states there are many good dogs and dog people in the state, and have been for years. If I am not mistaken We/Ohio just reversed BSL in our state,or at least my county or something like that somewhere here or maybe that was a rumor(HB 14) They have changed the criteria that it takes to deem a dog dangerous, the breed no longer is a justification if the dog/owner have done nothing illegal. AGK, you are not kidding about that, parts of that drive can be like Ambian. But nowhere near as bad as Nebraska.

Re: New Here- Looking for Reputable Line In OH
OH repealed BSL, but counties can still keep their/enact new bsl.
there's good dogs around ohio, but someone else already said, there's more good outside and immediately around ohio. lot's of people in OH don't do public sales or visits to their yards. attend dogs shows in surrounding states and you're sure to meet some like minded people. there have been several large busts in major areas of ohio in the last 5-7 years, and as a result lots of people closed their doors.
and yes, the cops are serious. there's a lot of idiots crossing through on 70 & 75, not to mention the northern part of the state is a big corridor for traffic, too. but hey, if you don't give them a reason to arrest you, chances are they won't.
a couple guys I graduated from HS with are now sheriff deputies or highway patrolmen, one is a city cop. all good guys with families who want to do their job and go home at the end of the day or night. nothing wrong with that in my eyes.
good luck in your search. i'm not a fan of franklin county and the surround counties, try looking out of that area.
