Slat/Carpet mill Vs. E-Mill
Hey guys,
long time lurker, only posted once or twice before though, but i used the search and i couldn't find a direct comparison so i thought i'd ask for some tips
you guys seem to favour the dog powered mills over e-mills on here, i've ***umed this as this is what you mostly use/post about/are looking for on here.
basically, i'm just asking as to what makes them better/favourable as compared to a e-mill?
the reason i'm asking is we have an old e-mill laying around from when a family member used to condition dogs to show, and i'm tossing up getting the thing's motor running or binning the motor and using the frame and whatever else i can use to convert it into a slat mill for my 7 month old boy
thanks in advance

Re: Slat/Carpet mill Vs. E-Mill
A slat/carpet mill allows the dog to open up and build up wind and strength, and/or slow down as they get tired....a emill, you set the pace for the dog....but if used properly and with a "good eye" can be a good part of any conditioning program!
