Post Pa. man jailed, paroled for barking at police dog

GREENSBURG, Pa.—A man nicknamed "Big Dog" has been sentenced to jail, but was then immediately paroled, after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct for barking at a police dog.

Fifty-seven-year-old Norris Daniels, of Pricedale, entered the guilty plea Friday and was sentenced to two to 12 months in jail by a Westmoreland County judge. The judge immediately paroled Daniels, who had been jailed unable to post bond since his arrest on Jan. 27, and ordered Daniels to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Monessen police say Daniels was taunting a police dog in the back of a police cruiser and kept barking at the animal after an officer told him to stop.

Daniels says he was barking at some nearby pit bulls not the police dog and "was at the wrong place at the wrong time."

this just goes to show that you dont have to break the law to be arrested, if cops want you in jail they will find a reason to put you there
