I like sharks & shark fishing, and the mako always seems to elude me. and because nurse shark, great white & lemon shark don't really roll off the tongue
Why do you ask, is it a bad name in the apbt world?

and i called my dog mako after moka shark...


last night i saw a docu about sharks and the man go diving whit first lemon sharks and caribien reefsharks.. in the water he makes the sharks in a trance... (nice to see.. its free diving)
after that he try it whit tigersharks (that was diffecault to make them in trance) and after the tigershark he go for the greaht white.
well i love sharks...

I too would not mind a member to PM me about the Kennel section. I am in no way a professional and just want to get my feet wet with the world of APBT shows and events. I'm going to a show in October and would love to consider buying a ringworthy pup eventually... does this section really weed out the peddlers and have quality animals listed or is it comparable to googling for puppies( no offense intended!) I personally would use it as a marketing tool, but obviously prefer word of mouth to random internet ads. it's 25.00 so really I should just join, but im wondering if it's the right venue for me . I'd hate to spend that and then see 2 dogs for sale :/

Yes there might be a couple peddlers in there as well.. But if you know what questions to ask I think you should be alright......I can Pick a Peddler out with 2 Questions...Very seldom do I need to ask 3...lol..lol I am in....

I think it has potential to be a great thing. Its hard to find good dogmen these days and not many people are gonna pay if they aren't serious.
