I am sooo getting a hotel room.. we went to this show a couple years ago and the weather was miserable, they didn't have heat in the building and what heat they had ran out of fuel..lol Heard last year it was really nice weather.. either way I'm not camping out...lol

The CH's class is tough no matter who is in the ring. Yeah Mathew places most of the time, but it wasn't but a month or so ago that Bronson took the cup BOTH shows with Mathew getting a 2nd..lol Mathew is a nice dog, Bronson is a nice dog, hell Ozzy is an awesome dog....but I'm here to tell you.. CH Jewels is the shit..lol

red nose gurl, I have seen matthew and yeah he is amazing. Before I knew anything about him or his crew I thought so. Im not saying he doesnt deserve to win, Im just saying that they pick each others dogs. I have seen it with my own eyes. I even like michelle and noel, I just think everyone has a hill to climb if they have friends in your class.

So now I really do try not to feed into stuff like this, and I routinely do my best to stay far away from being political online but once in a great while I feel the need to defend myself or ppl I consider my friends. While I will first take the time to say thank you for the very nice comments about my dog, I will have to say that I am a bit taken back at the slander posted in this post towards myself and a fellow, judge and YES, friend. I must say that it’s nice to be able to stand behind a screen name and very publicly bash REAL ppl. Please don’t take my comment as aggression, rather self-defense.

To quote they both place their friendds dogs in each and every show they enter” & I just think everyone has a hill to climb if they have friends in your class”, is beyond unrealistic and is slander. Let’s see, I (Michelle – for those of you who don’t know) have had the opportunity to judge Noel’s dogs TWICE. In both those shows he showed at LEAST 10 plus dogs at each show (check the books). You know how many of those dogs I placed at any given show, TWO. One was given a best puppy (this dog earned it twice that weekend – both were not from me) and won a total of 7 in his puppyhood, and the other dog who did get a BOO at a different show was a two time nationals winner has become a champion, (I did not judge Nationals nor give her all her points). The two other dogs took a ribbon. So out of the 100plus dogs entered in each show judged there are 30 placings to be awarded, does that mean that I have 30 friends lined up to get there’s or two dogs win all 30 placings. (PLEASE forgive the sarcasm – just pointing out the ridiculousness of the statements). If you look at my Ch of Ch placings – I HAVE PLACED the DOGS that are in DIRECT COMPETITION against MY OWN DOG! WHY? Because they DESERVE it – not because of whom they are or what it would do to our rankings! If my integrity was questionable, then shouldn’t I just place dogs that are not a threat to us – wouldn’t you think???

After 20 plus years in the dogs, you do get to know ppl and become friendly with ppl, as a club officer, exhibitor and yes a Judge. Is a judge NOT supposed to be friends with ppl out of fear of being accused of playing favorites? If a person has a dog that does well under a judge, doesn’t that person tend to warm up to the judge? So which came 1st the person placed because he warmed up or warmed up because he was placed? Not often will someone become friendly if not placed, so friendships do get forged at shows.

I have heard over the years the statement of judges placing their own dogs or other judges dogs, or club members, etc. 1st, the ADBA REQUIRES judges to be breeders – so you are bound to run into “your own stuff”, 2nd does one really think that after multiple decades being involved with the dogs that a judge or club member would not know what kind of dog to bring into the ring? Not saying that they are entitled to win, but that they should be bringing a higher caliber of dog in.

As far as “GDCH XI”Matthew being placed by Noel, this is a bit laughable, of the 119 times Matthew has PLACED in a show, he has earned a total of 55 cups & 1368 points, Noel has given us two placings. So please, I respectfully ask, that you be fair & truthful in your comments.

I dont think you have a hill to climb its all in how you choose to precieve it.....i got the same BS with my dogs at our local show..... the stud owner of my pups at the time placed my 2 pups first in there class.....which everyone bitched about her picking her " own " dogs.....until the second day when Pat Brisco awarded all the same placements exactly the same as the day before..... so was it the 2 judges had it out for me, did i kiss ass that much ? or was it accurate judging ?

Personally im afraid now to talk to judges and stuff like that on a personal level, cos ive already been labelled this year for that....winning cos i know the judge......i dont know shit LOL.....

Michelle you got a great dog.....you know this. Like i stated i would show the shit out of a dog that was a 1/4 that great.... im just taking chances this year with mine....i dont think they are GD CH in the makings but i must see something in them to goto Georgia.......what was i thinking ? LOL

I'd be embarassed to post this BS.

I own a current CH produced by Matthew who by 9 months of age had won 6 best Puppy trophy's (1 was at the AADR National 2 weeks ago and another 1 was during ADBA Nationals Invitational). He's had judges say he is a good pup and they liked him very much.... I try to be humble and I am not attempting to brag but rather nearly prove how far off in left field you are with your statement....

Both Michelle and Noel judged my pup.... guess what???? - Neither of them gave him a trophy and Noel actually placed him 2nd that day in his class and later told me why.... The weekend Michelle judged him he did win a trophy under Abel Santillion so he did have the goods but Michelle saw something better in another pup and that was that...

I have attended well over 25 shows this year (spread out over about 8-10 weekends) and you are so far off....

Folks will use whatever excuse they can when their dogs do not place and this is just another... Actually it is very poor sportmanship -

As Boogieman says, "Let the haters hate..."
