It's a 3 month old puppy, man. Let em go let em grow. If you're looking for some gargantuan monster dog, you're looking for a different breed

Like everyone said, just let him grow.
Also, I would quit giving the vitamins and such, just feed a good food.
You shouldn't want him to be fatter either, it only leads to obesity later on in life, which will then lead to health and joint problems.
APBTs are a medium breed, if it makes you feel any better my 9 week old dog only weighs 4.5lbs...but I like it that way
ETA: He will get muscular when he gets older, think of him as an toddler right now...are they muscular?

You KNOW for a fact that he should be bigger? There is a small feat in the program that isn't listed in the brochure of Animal Husbandry. The fine print reads....YOU will NEVER figure genetics out! Just when you THINK you have, it will produce a throwback of some sort to laugh at you for forgetting that lil feat.for some reason i know for a fact that he is suppose to be bigger than he is now . &+ i do want him to get bigger . meaning fatter, muscular built, etc . he doesnt even weigh 20 pds yet . i feed him eagle pack &+ solid gold hunchen flocken . &+ i give him a calorie suplement &+ i just started him on vitamins . any advice on how to get him bigger ?
We all want our dogs to grow and be healthy and the such. Sounds to me like you have a Bullie? And you are disappointed that you are disappointed to say the least?
There is a dog on here ("Five-Oh") that is 4 months and 2 weeks old. You tell me how much she should weigh at this age? Reason I ask is because the siblings are all thick dogs typical of the route in which they were bred. However...She is a solid, lean fiesty 15 pounds emptied out, while her siblings are all high 20/low 30 pound range. Next to them (literally) she looks 8-10 weeks old. Does this mean she will NOT gain m*** or get bigger? Absolutely not! However, she MAY blow up like the World Trade Center....ORRRRR....She may just stay tiny.
PERSONALLY....I know ALOT of people who use and swear by vitimins and special feeds and alla that stuff. And...I myself try it before I knock it! But PERSONALLY...I always return to my "Diamond".
Patience is a virtue! Relax, enjoy your PUPPY and one day you will look back and laugh at how your dog has progressed thru life stages.

Re: I want my almost 3 month pitbull puppy to get bigger .
I hate to be the bearer of bad news yet again, but while Diamond is a popular, it is NOT a good feed. I would never pat myself on the back for feeding Diamond. It was once a good food, but since it was enveloped by a conglomerate the quality has gone downhill considerably. It has been on TWO recalls & has killed several dogs & sickened many, many more. I will never feed that junk again nor would I recommend any one else to!

he is fine for 3 months old, if anything 20# is kinda large - stop w/ the supplements and vitamins.for some reason i know for a fact that he is suppose to be bigger than he is now . &+ i do want him to get bigger . meaning fatter, muscular built, etc . he doesnt even weigh 20 pds yet . i feed him eagle pack &+ solid gold hunchen flocken . &+ i give him a calorie suplement &+ i just started him on vitamins . any advice on how to get him bigger ?
quality food, and nature- dont try to force him to be something ~you~ think he is supposed to be

Re: I want my almost 3 month pitbull puppy to get bigger .
It really depends every dog is different. I have two pits one was 10-20 lbs when he was 3 months and my other was 25-35 when was 3 months. You never know what your gonna get it's really a coin toss and I didn't give them any of those supplements or vitamins. Just let em grow naturally, and hold off on that stuff.
