The video quality is not that hot but you can't expect much from a VHS to DVD transfer that is a few years old. Other than that I think it's a great resource. Some info I didn't care much for but there is other stuff that is of great value to any dog owner. You can tell from the video that Fat Bill has a great passion for the dogs no doubt, in my humble opinion anyway.
The book of interviews is a great recollection for those interested in the history of the breed. Hughes' and FBs interviews are both very good, probably my favorites in the book.
I found it interesting to read how the choice and selection of breeding stock differs from dogman to dogman.

Dogman 2000 was an excellent tool when it was originally released, and it has stood the test of time. Good information is good information, whether it came out in 1956, 2000 or yesterday. That is part of the beauty of this, along with the other DVDs American Times offers, along with the books...they are jam-packed with shit that you will be able to reference and use today, tomorrow and 50 years from now. GOOD INFORMATION IS GOOD INFORMATION.

to anyone that says that keep is not good or the feed is bullshit you got to have your head up your ass do you know how many dogs that keep was used on and worked. it is a real keep used by real dogmen who proved it where it counts. and that was following the keep exactly

thats an interesting bit of info. ive never applied the info to another breed of dog. gonna get me a new rat terrier and put him thru the paces LOL
