Default Blue eyes true APBT or not?

I've read that a blue eyed pitbull is not a APBT. True or Not? If true or not where do the blue eyes come from as far as genetics is concerned. A friend bred two game APBTs and the puppies have blue or grayish colored eyes.

I wouldnt say its not an APBT but it is a fault (according to apbtconformation), From what I've seen its just a pigment thing with the white, what colour are the pups?

10 years ago a dude I went to school with had a PR registered Colby $#@! who had both eyes blue, white head, brindle body. $#@! was beautiful. I had the pleasure of keeping her for 3 months when his dads insurance company found out he had her and threatened to cancel their insurance. She was fixed and she didn't get along with my male so I just kept her till he found her a home. I've seen a couple with one blue eye but never both since her. She was 2 years old at the time and she had a ped, pure Colby so yes it can happen.

Some Carver dogs and Dirty Mary had a blue eye its not a fault on the standard, however, albinism it is.

Hey Check out the APBT History section, a story on Bancroft's Champion Blue

Ch Stone had a cracked eye also. He had a lot of Colby and Loposay on the top side.

She went to Canada. Broke my fricken heart. Rein is the only pup I ever threw with a blue eye. The photos I get back make it all good. Its no fault in the ADBA. It may be in the UKC. Crum's Blue Eye Sal is in the pedigree. She is as pure bred as it gets!
