A test for intelligence! Which dog is more healther?

Well heres an intellegent answer to the question. You cant see the side of the top dog so its hard to say but the bottom dog is in extreme condition this does not mean its in better health though as it could be slightly dehydrated or low carbed. Also even if it was 100% healthy at the top condition it would still be more apt to sickness because of lack of nutrients in my opinion....No doubt the botom dog is in shape to go all day and the top dog might stroke out in 15...lol But its a opininated question as to style of dog if you ask me.

 

Marty explained it right. Thats what I was waiting for. I think a certain person read the thread wrong and thought I was turning this into some kind of flame war which I hate. It was my fault for not explaining more. No flaming, just a question on the difference. Finale doesnt look conditioned in the photo, good shape though. She wouldnt be far from it with some weeks of working in that photo, great bitch marty or shon, not sure is it yours or his

Like I sayd before...finale is a pretty athlete.....B U T not all champions look like finale...or in other words some look pretty much like the dog above.......-or I am again 100% wrong?

 

I would say that Shons finale is healthier, you can relate this thread to boxing, the top dog would be the boxer that is depending on his size to pull him through, he may have ran a couple of miles around his block while soaking up media attention of how much size he has on his opponent, but shons finale went underground for a couple of months, found a cabin in the mountains, ran hills chopped wood, had crazy sparring sessions the whole nine which abled him to get in top physical shape. hahaha this isnt ali vs. foreman lol both dogs look goodand each is probably pretty healthy but like it was stated you cant tell whos healthier by a picture and if it was a fight everyone knows that lower pit is probably a 30 lb dog and the guy uptop is most likely in the 70's in a real boxing match a 40 lb. difference is huge go ahead an put oscar delahoya in a ring with mike tyson watch what happens lol

 

again, to sum up what i said earlier, it looks like finale has maximized his potential for extreme physical conditioning where the mutt is just a little overweight for everyday homeliving. furthermore, finale has more endurance and snap type muscles where the mutt may have lower stamina and more resistance type muscles. finale just looks more fit physically for his weight than the mutt.

 

You need to read the posts more carefully, Finale is not at her maximum level of conditioning or keep weight.

 

You're implying that in a dog fight (for historical purposes and a bit of education) Finale would lose to that dog? Lmao. Finale is a female and if those two were on the same yard and an accident happened, Finale would most likely kill the poor dog in a matter of minutes.

Yup. You'd really have to throw something more challenging at a dog like Finale.

 

I think mercepitdog was trying to say that this is a matter of OPINION, and not whether what dog is really healthier. The UKC/AKC staff people, and quite a few petbull owners, will agree that Finale looks starved and malnourished and that a box of twinkies would make her feel so much better.

However, the true APBT fanciers and people who are not completely ignorant will agree that Finale is indeed the fitter one, and probably healthier. Not just conditioning wise. But structurally too, as the first dog is more likely to suffer from structural faults such as HD.

But, we must remember that not all staff owners/breeders are morons and not all game dog fanciers know what their talking about. I believe this should've been a fairer comparason, perhaps between a chucky Hartagold dog (You know, a REAL DEAL AMStaff) and Shon's Finale. The first dog doesn't even look like a staff, and probably wouldn't recieve a conformation championship in any registry but the CKC.

GSDbulldog my hats of to u for the comment about not all staff breeders are morons i dont breed staffs but i breed performance blue dogs and people just automaticly think i dont know anything about pits. Well i have frisco dogs as well and i have conditioned dogs for a good while now for some top competitors. I wish everyone would think like you my freind. And as for the comment about finale would kill that dog in a matter of minutes come on guys keep it real a 40 pound weight difference if the big dog was remotly game he would smash the lil dog. Not takin anything away from finale but ive heard of it happening

As far as Finale getting beat by a mutt, I'm keeping my mouth shut on that one

 

It really depends on your knowledge of the breed in order to correctly answer that.Also your knowledge of dogs period.So that's hard to answer imo

Well, here you go. I do believe that Finale is a much more takin care of dog. She looks well worked and athletic. Since she has this work that meens that her immune system is high as a well takin care of, active lifestyle keeps you healthier than most. As for "The Mutt" he is probably well takin care of but obviously not as worked as Finale. That is all I can give at this point in time as All i see are two pictures. Finale in my opinion is the Healthier Dog.

i think both dogs are healthy but shons finale is better conditioned and a much much better example of what an american pitbull terrier should be.

bogan in that picture looks overweight (he pants just for stacking) lols! and ive seen some pics of this nice dog and i can tell that he has big big shoulders and is pretty wide.
