Worst refs I have ever seen...

I am not a fan of either the Steelers or Seahawks but man the refs comepletely stole that game from Seattle. I swear it looked like the game was rigged.

 

I am in the same boat as you... I dont really like eiter team so I have no vested interest in the game.. But WOW. I was shocked and kind of sad to see some of them calls.

I think because it may/may not be Bettis' last year people really wantde them to get a ring before he left. and the Refs did what they could to "help out".

They should be investigated and fired. It pissed me off.

 

i am a seahawks fan and it is hard to lose a game that was so influenced by the zebras! it really cheapened the superbowl foe seahawk and "stealer" fans. really gutwrenching!! it speaks volumes when the officiating is what everyone is talking about!

 

I have never ever thought or seen a game be won or lost by the refs until this one

 

I live in Washington State and I can tell you there are alot of very, very P***ed off fans here. You hear about it everywhere you go here. I personally did not get to watch them game, but from the sounds of it, it was a very badly called game.

 

well i watched every second of it and it was terrible at least 7 bad calls were made and everyone of them had implications on the game thank goodness i am not a seahawks fan or a steelers fan for that matter not sure how they can sit up and take credit for the victory the whole thing stinks worst superbowl ever

 

man even i agree with that call... it was like the ref's were against the seahawks... i caught 2 foul ups and i only watched the first half of the game... on top of all that, i barely know shit about football LOL

 

Yeah, bad, disappointing calls.....

and I didn't even think the commercials were that good either!!!
much better last year!

I agree...worst Super Bowl ever. There were some bad calls, sure, but that's no excuse for Hasselbeck to throw 30 yards downfield every other play when he should have been hitting the open guys underneath. He played the worst game he's played all season. Then we have the two missed field goals by one of the best kickers in the league...Stevens dropping almost everything thrown to him...and our weak-ass third string safety who can't cover a penny with a blanket. Yeah, the refs need to be lined up with cigarettes and blindfolds, but they weren't soley to blame.
All that being said, I still have nuttin but love for my Hawks

 

Well I some what agree with what was said about the them zebra's. they tried to give the game to the colts when we (Steelers) played them. All in all, We brought it back to the STEEL CITY. And Rockstar, you obviously know something about football, there were a lot of mistakes made by the seahawks coaching staff (horrible clock management). And to all you Steeler hater's out there, I wont stick the middle one up but you all get the thumb. lol "The best damn franchise ever, PERIOD" HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!
