Then look for a realy game breed Bulldog.....and maybe ....a lucky coincidente...and you get a white. And remember...some idits cross dogoblood in

 

funny you said dogo..a baor hunter i know does it for lung capacitie..he says they dont tire out as fast...but then again his dog is a fat ass..and neeeds it...i dont think its true..if anything maybe makes them easier to break off.. :o

 

For boarhunting...hmmm...you know dogos have allways catchweight, and yes they have a realy good nose and one hell of wind...i think mixed with Bulldogs(pits)...yes you would get very good Bulldogs.But you know......dont matter what you cross in it takes some pices of gamenes away...thats it.

The question has been answered already. Find a good, reputable, honest breeder to owns & breeds good, reputable, honest bulldogs (APBTs for some of you who don't understand). Then, if there happens to be a white, that's fine to base your final decision on, but don't & I repeat, don't look to buy strictly for color.

Several years ago white "pits" were the fad. Now look at www.petfinder.com & type in "dog...pit bull...& your state/zip" in the upper left hand corner & see what color the majority of all the pit bulls are......they are white. Some are solid, some have few splotches, but regardelss they are overrunning the system.

Most of my past rescues have been white dogs. I've had 1 true albino who lived to the ripe old age of 3, & the remaining ones have all been deaf (my current dog, Sukari, is 1 of these "rare" popular white & deaf dogs). Rex was a gift from a friend & in some way (shame on me) had to prove himself over his white color (I just don't like it).

But the biggest problem one will have even with a perfectly healthy white dog is sunburn. It happens & it is not only very painful to the dog, but can be fatal in severe cases.

 

I did not read this entire thread in detail, so I may be repeating someone. But, white dogs are more likely to have skin problems (allergies, direct sun light, etc..). I have been using a line of dogs that produces red/red, white, and white/red dogs. It's the lack of pigment that is the problem. White coat with dark skin can be ok. Red nosed, all white, or mostly white with some red..... will very likely have skin issues. The pinker the skin the more likely.

 

Hey, I came across this thread doing a google search to see if white pit bull terrier's are game...so, my mom found 3 female pups at her house one Sunday, my children fell in love with the white female with tan marks on her eyes and ears with a few spots on her body, she had very pink skin underneath her coat...all the pups where very skinny and had worms...so i de-wormed them and adopted the others and kept the white one for myself. She was the smallest of the 3 but had a lot of fight in her as they would get into serious fights with each other all the time! Although being the smallest she would lose in the "running fights" because her legs where to short to keep up it was kinda funny lol...Please dont misunderstand me as I always broke up the fights but they would fight until someone could reach them, I am just reporting my observations. So anyways, She gets along great with my doberman, both females! I know, but i always wanted a pit bull dog and have read many books on them since a teenager. I never let them play fight, they learned to do it silently behind my back its funny. But my pit bull has never gotten serious with my doberman like she would with her litter mates. As far as her skin, at first I saw no sign of skin problems, then i gave her flea drops. She started to bite at her skin a lot, so i gave her benedryl twice a day. I feed my dogs Blue Buffalo kibble witch is a high quality food and after about a month of feeding her she no longer requires benedryl doses for her itchiness. Although she still scratches herself but what dog does not? As my doberman scratches herself as much as my pit bull does. So, I am attaching a picture of her. I do not know if anyone is still interested in this discussion but I am reporting my findings. I take it white pit bulls are game as well from reading earlier posts.

You should find some of the threads on here discussing gameness and read them. Find out what it means for a dog to be game in the first place. There is a lot of good information on here if you are willing to take the time to read and learn.

 

In all honesty i will give you a chance so as i asked of you read some things on this site start off with the thread i posted and use the search function to look for things you need to learn or want to learn it is pretty much all here if you want to know it your just a misguided young dude i understand that you weren't raised right or something i don't know many grown men that act the way your acting but hell if we can change one douche at a time i am willing to try i won't continue to slur you anymore but please learn something before you go posting on the site or if you want to know something ask around but don't assume anything because your lack of knowledge is just like any average joe who has never owned an APBT and do not really know how dog men keep there dogs and how they care for them most people on this site care for there yard dogs better than folks who have a house dog just because your dog is in the house with you does not mean you work it and give it the time it needs for true exercise most house dogs are actually neglected worse than yard dogs so please get your facts straight and come at us with something intelligent next time

 

A lot of white pits do have skin problems but it tends to be on selective breeding so if you do tend to get one make such that it's ped or parents don't have skin problems if so then don't get it but if it was up to me I wouldn't get one because I want to breed and I still to black dogs

 

Whats with all this color talk as of late i mean just show us real bulldogs and lets talk real bulldogs who gives a damn what color these threads are as useless as the back and forth banter that I and pimpin gimp had simply useless
