Love Gamedog

Yea I know it'll get better. But it doesn't seem to want to. Today is my son's third birthday, my car broke down, my head hurts and Icouldn't afford anything for him. I think I'm just going to lie down.

 

Soon this will all be nothing more than a memory and you will wonder why it took you so long to move forward. Your kids will be far more happy now than they could have ever been otherwise and they will love, thank and respect you so much more in the end. It's the mothers who give up that the kids are unhappy and resentful, spending their lives feeling unworthy. It's all good, you won't feel this way for long, the best is yet to come.

 

OMG; I'm so sorry that you are going through this right now. Those lil' ones, don't need to see that kind of mess going on. It sounds like to me, there is more going on with his life right now, than being said. Since, I can't talk about that here. I am very sorry to hear about your situation. I grew up watching my mom get in one abusive relationship after the next, and it showed me what I was not prepared to tolerate. Good on you for putting his sorry butt in jail.

As for other forums, I probably shouldn't reply. Just please give the mods a break. There are only a handful for a forum with close to 5000 members, and they are doing the best job they can. The banning of Diane Jessup was a nice little bomb for them to cope with, and they were trying to limit things that would bring that mess back up to the front.

Whats bad about Tantonka? i like their stuff and from what ive heard its pretty good. Joanie has been with the dogs for years its sad to see some cyberdogger talk bad about her.

What she is mentioning was the fiasco with D.J. on another site. Dianne up and decided to buy a dog from someone she considered a byb (and was verbally abusing less than a few months before)....hell, after the purchase she was still talking bad about both Bert and Joanie. Which most found intriguing to say the least because for years D.J. has had that "holier than thou" attitude and severly abused anyone on the forum who bought a dog from a byb, and always made a point to say rescue was the way to go. All of a sudden, she doesnt like rescue anymore, and even made a broad, streotypical , degrading remark about rescuers being filthy people living in terrible conditions, neglecting kids, and not really doing any good for dogs. You can never tell with D.J. , shes so ass-backwards most the time the word "hypocrit" can barely cover it. Thats why I wouldnt take to heart anything this woman says. Thats not the purpose of this thread though, so I'd appreciate it if we did not go on that tangent. Thank you.

 

Defend,That really sucks and I know it' hard with small children and all. Believe me when I say I know. But, you're doing the right thing. That's no way for children to see adults act. Follow up on some of the other comments, like foodbanks and salvation army. They can be of some assistance. Also the DSS can help. Just hold your head up and move forward. You will probably find your life to be better for it. Make a stand for yourself and your children. Will be hoping for the best for you.

I have 3 dogs right now. The rescue I work with wanted me to foster three puppies (Two blue) but I told them I couldnt right now because I can't afford to feed. Everything is turning around. He plead guilty and is on probation has to take stop the violence courses and has to go through a mental evaluation. But they dropped the protection order after the second trial. i'm going to a job interview today everyone wish me luck.
