Star Wars - Save Your Money

Sucked. Just didn't have the vibe as the original movies. On a scale from 1-10, probably a 6. Oh well.

 

I could already tell by the previews that it wasnt going to be as good as the rest of the movies.

 

This movie was hyped like hell, hence the huge crowds. My advice is to just wait until it's at the dollar-theater or out on netflix, etc.

 

I think Lucas wasn't even envolved on this movie

I don't think he was either. None of them are worth watching but the original 3.

 

Agree, the first two are classics. I learned my lesson, won't be wasting any more money on this junk. Glad I didn't pay extra to see the 3D version, LOL!

 

I will never pay to watch any movie when I can watch it online for free LOL.

 

Just saw the "Big Short" highly recommended for anybody who wants to know how and why! Next water!

 

I saw the movie Creed, I think Rocky lied when he said Apollo won the private fight LMAO.

 

i liked creed. that one was real good.

 

Like I mentioned above The Big Short, is A MUST see and why unbridled capitalism is A disaster, once special interest groups or banks can buy legislators we the people are screwed! Check it out!! Just like all this snowballing anti APBT legislation, and now Game Cocks in LA. I never thought I would see the latter in my life time!!!! I know at the time I was with A group when Edwin Edwards was Governor he pretty much laid it out! In A state legislature he said if we pass this aginst the APBT you think they will stop there!!! Treen the first Republican governor since reconstruction buried the state in the red! I guess everybody woke up and got rid of that last clown!!

 

That sh@! Had me almost crying...if you like bulldogs you'll like this movie!

I couldn't disagree more. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I absolutely loved The Force Awakens. I've already seen it twice.

I only have a few complaints.

-Kylo Ren was a shitty villain. He was basically a Darth Vader fanboy with daddy issues.

-That scene where General Hux gave a painfully Hitler-esque speech to the Stormtroopers was fucking stupid.

-(Mild Spoilers here. Don't look) The entire plot of the damn movie was that BB8 had a map that lead to Luke, so the Resistance and the First Order were both trying to get him. The Resistance managed to get it, but it was only a small piece of the whole map.
Guess where the rest of the map was the entire time? Fucking R2D2 had it.
They had Luke's old droid sitting in the fucking corner of their base and they didn't even bother to check if he had the rest of the map. There was even a scene where C3PO said something along the lines of "Yeah, I doubt Artoo has the map and even if he does, he hasn't really been working well so whatever."


Again, despite my complaints it really was a great movie. Considering how nitpicky I am about Star wars, the fact that I only have 3 complaints is a pretty good sign.

 

I saw and liked The Big Short. True and interesting story. Well -acted I thought. Some people got rich betting against the mortgage market. But damn it was tense watching it.

While getting tickets, I saw a bunch of people behind a rope waiting to see Star Wars.

 

i saw the new star wars and actually enjoyed it, open ending theres gonna be more to come. (Y)
