Such a fine line between a dog that's willing to defend it's owner being labelled a hero or a villian. Take that infamous ice bucket challenge video where the dog attacks the grandma who is been soaked in ice cold water. The dog was put down and it was classed as a "Pit Bull attack" but a slo-mo replay shows that as the Grandma recoils from the cold water her head goes back and head butts her granddaughter and the dog reacts to that in lightening fashion.

Recently on a popular mma forum a guy made a thread about his "Pit Bull" attacking him and showed his horrific injuries at first not knowing who's dog attacked him and setting up a gofundme account.

Turns out the guy had taken some pills got into an argument with his wife and pushed her and the dog attacked him. Dog was put down.

Imagine if the owner was the POS and his dog has joined in the attack it would be the villian and not a hero.

in the story i saw she got stabbed but kept her hold. that's a game little dog.true hero RIP.

(i hate that the pebble crowd was rioting because it was called a "dog" in the original post. they demand it be called a pit bull. show some respect.)

Thing is if the guy was going to use the knife they would all be dead after the dog had been injured. Did the guy get the knife after the dog attacked?

Hate the sensationalised way that video was filmed. Fucking help the dog not get your camera out and film it dying in high definition. Can't take it seriously looks like propaganda.

If it is propaganda i'll take this any day . Consider the 1980's propaganda to destroy the reputation of the breed .
Sadly there are no dog paramedics . Under such extreme cases why can't paramedics stabilize a dog . I assume a police working dog or army dog hurt does not just lay there same way they must have a way to help working dogs
