If you're worried about it just get em a dog jacket, use a brand that the greyhound people use. The only time I would use boots is if you're running em in snow for long periods of time to stop the snow crystals balling up between the toes.

Mine do fine in cold temps. As long as they have a good doghouse to stay in they will be fine exercising in the cold Ive never had a problem. I actually like the colder temps cuz you can work them longer and not run hot. Like someone said before just make sure they are warm before an intense workout so you dont risk injuries. And dont pay attention to the trolls on here there are plenty of people that will give you helpful advice just scroll by the rest.

E-mills are as quiet and far more acceptable if you modify a human one. Whatever the weather, I always use a dog jacket whenever I'm walking one I'm shaping out in public. I use paw wax for their feet when it gets extremely cold.

 

Below freezing depending on how long i intend to stay out.I was looking into getting some dog boots for mine cause if we out in freezing weather too long ice starts to form on his pads and he'll lift the frozen foot like its injured and i have to brush the ice off then hes good till it forms again.So if i find a good pair i can keep him out longer.People might laugh but in the NE winters can be bitter and living in the city most snow turns to slush real quick.So i think they be a usefull tool if i can find some.

Fuckin-A-Right we gone laugh! If it's cold enough to HURT the dog, why do it??? If you not gambling, why walk in the snow or slush?? If it's just a "fun walk," why walk so long, IN THE FREEZING COLD?? What's fun about that?? If not CONDITIONING a dog, I don't see the point in walkin in freezing weather, especially snow...

I think as long as you warm the dog up you can go as low as 40 degrees. They also sell some decent cold gear for dogs on amazon.
