Hey everybody! Just wanted to share some pictures of the dog I got since I've been here last. She's 11 months old now and 26lbs.

Thank you. I'm hoping she stays little, too. Her mom was 40lb and dad was 50lb. She was the smallest in the litter, which only gained bonus points with me :) She is extremely attentive. I love her focus. I'm hoping to make my next agility dog out of her. So far all of the traits are there and she's a little rocket.

  5. She's about the size of my girl, she wont get too much bigger I don't think. I could be wrong, but I feel like the little ones have a lot more energy to drain haha

Nice looking pup. I have had coon dogs that did not look that good on a tree. LOL
It is good to see one running loose in the woods. Shows great time put in to keep them from running off.
I have an acre or so wooded lot fenced in and we turn them out for some run time. A squirrel or rabbit goes by and it is me exercising chasing them down. which was not a port of the original deal. LOL

    Great pics. Good looking dog.

    Thank you!
She loves to hunt down things, but luckily has an amazing recall. She took off after a herd of deer and came off as soon as I whistled. Has treed a black bear on multiple occasions, coons, and mostly squirrels. She's been super easy to train. It makes it nice because we're on 16 acres of mostly woods (surrounded by state forest) so I can let her run loose and not overly worry about her running into something and not coming back. She sticks close enough for me to see her. I just have to be careful that she doesn't get a hold of something before I spot it because then it's game on. We're starting barn hunt trials next month to try to exercise those instincts.

I always had males, was very skeptical about a female, but there was something about her I really like. I can honestly say I doubt I'll have go back to males again. By far the easiest dog I've ever trained.

Intense is the best word to describe this little bitch.
