some cur snap and some dont stay in hold, but all bulldogs or catchdogs as mr hammonds named them...

Its a damn shame that apbt, am bully, micro bully and xxl registered under the same name. ADBA should stop this!!!

I think keep em seperate and educating people about the breeds is the key...renaming it could make them even more popupair and interresting like its a new breed and it could get hyped again.

Most bully people walk arround with there spikey dog colars and heavy chains and there saggy pants to compensate there missing traits...and they love to say its a PIT!!!
The name staffy, bully amstaff are not sounding as though as Pitbull terrier.

There are a few bully breeders that have a lil more brains that named there breed there own name...i respect that!!...and i hope this will be the future.

When people ask/talk about the apbt, allot of people mention aggresion towards humans, these dogs are misunderstood in many ways by ALLOT of people, i supprise myself everytime, but i always try to take the time and explain there selective breeded for many years for DA and human aggresion is bred out of the real apbt, and that it takes a responsible owner to not let anything happend to other animals and that human aggression is not allowed and that these dogs are put down, and it helps to explain about the breeds they seem to trust more like (shepherds and rotweilers or whatever) and that they are bred to attack people and called manstoppers and more danger to people, i tell em to google everything i tell em if they are not convinced.

I feel that people understand them just a lil more after this.
And i think its our job to educate people iff the situation ask for it.

 

I understand that you are trying to positively represent the breed but don't confuse opinions with facts. Many folks do cull for man aggression, but many do not. Unless you know your lines and the people that bred them fifty years back that is a very bold statement and I think it's dangerous. I agree that alot of our dogs are some of the most people friendly dogs you could find but anything with teeth bites and bad apples come out in the bunch all the time no matter what.

 

Everybody with a normal functional brain know there are rotten apples in every breed, race, and especially dog owners.
I dont think its dangerous because i never tell or ask people to trust any dog from any breed as they are still animals!! Again i think everybody with a normal functional brain can think of that...iff not they are not even worth waisting my breath.

 

could you name a fighting dog that did not shake, tear, nor crunch. all those are terrier traits after all.

 

I had a Heavy Alligator bred female that was all Black, and was jogging it around a high school track when a
lady asked me if it was a Black Lab..Lol That was 1991. Now when i walk my pups in public and someone comments ..I
say "he's a rescue." The reply often is.. "God Bless You!" Truth be told it's a $1000 Eli pup i spent 3 months working
on to procure. I don't know..around here. you say "rescue" and you instantly get a smile and a slap on the ass. I
am a Christian and don't promote Fibbing...but i just can't deal with the bullshit.
