Boris, a little of topic but do you know of this dog, Kasa's Ch Grizli jr? Can you say something about this dog as a producer? I really admire this dog and would like to know about his offspring.

 

I must tell u i never heard of this dog before and i never heard of his owner,nor people from 2nd generation of pedigree if this is the dog u talk about:
KASA'S GRIZLI JR.
i did found 1 fight of him,against hac's zeko. I also see that he have only 2 offspring in ped,i cant tell u nothing about him... I am not saying he is bad,just i dont know nothing about him.

 

Thanks, I thought I would ask. He was a very good dog in my eyes, watched him for number two but that's all the info I have on him.

Boris what do you think about Mexican dogs that have come and competed in Europe (e.g gr ch Sam jr , gr ch chilindria) would you say these dogs are a class above?

Dogs in the Balkans/Europe in general

 

I dont think that any dogs r above balkan class. international dog of the year, gr ch kid is dog from balkan. He is proclaimed best in world for 2014 year and i dont think any dog is above him at this momment.
I do believe that top guys from balkan,top guys from america (with this i mean both central and latin america) and russia/ukraine can match anybody in world. they r top class,1st league.

So he,himself confirmed that almost all top guys r avoiding balkan because one who come there lose. chilindria is 1 of rare who manage to win here and she didnt win against some average guy,but she beat a top kennel here.

Chilindrina is definitly 1 of all time greats together with naissus ch lana,seki gr ch vetra, gr ch holly,ch bad rosemary...

and i dont think rest of europe is on top. Spain is best of the rest european countries (i believe).

it was for 2013. he won with 60% of votes while 2nd was russian gr ch titus with 22%.
gr ch titere (SDJ) had 5% of votes.

U see all these titles are subjective and sometimes misleading. GIS, BIS, DOY, etc. They voted on based on peoples preference. And DOY is even worse, as its voted on by people that never seen all the contestants go in that time frame or even 50% of the shows in the region, let alone internationally. Theres always a bias involved.
Even the candidates for regional DOY are nominated by a few and many times based on how the dog is promoted and marketed.
On that international forum, how many seen all the candidates in action? How many from Eastern Europe/ Western Asia, the Americas, Western Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Islands? Anything voted on is based on a preference that is tinged with bias or a lack of other options.

it seems like the international forum had a majority of European countries making the vote. im not knocking the dog or the bloodline..but for anybody to say they got the best dog in the world that's a big title to hold....a "majority" of people here might say tieter is the best in the world...as in a majority elsewhere might say another name....like mashamplan said its peoples preference and I agree...shit I got the best 30lb female in my backyard and I got the majority of my small town to back her up lol wheres our DOY or best in the world title lol

 

Just because Chico travels the world doesn't makes him the "best of the American Dogmen". Just means he has big $$$. It's known he refused a open call out by a old timer on His private forum. Again you can't claim to be the best until meet the same demands you make of ppl , travel to the competitions back yard. I could be mistaken but I didn't hear about any Balkan reps at VR's big show last Nov. MX , Peru and USA were there, might have been one or two from Brazil too idk. Has there been any Balkan Dogmen compete in Baja, MX?

Kid is the result of a outcross .Silver had some good dogs behind him for sure.I don't think Kid had as many good.ones behind him from the outcross .
