He takes so bad care of his dogs that he takes on stray dogs ones in a while and dogs of people who dont have the time and need for them AND FEEDS THEM!!!.
G Hammonds is OLD SCHOOL. and sure as hell knows a hell of a lot more about dogs and there history 99% of the people on this board ever wil.. and is known for his hounesty. witch his YARD videos show as he films the dogs that are sick old and in bad shape!!. and shows it to everybody. he is from a ERA where dogs where kept bred in a diferend way as today. and at least his dogs GROW OLD and die of old age. iven the dogs that NEVER PRODUCE PUPS being female ore male. Howmany boys from the hood today and on this forum have dogs that grow old as 15 years!???????????????????/..... as for dogs i have bought a hand full over the last 30 years . I never got a bad one............

limey i am not sure why you are so angry at what i said about garys yard , i didnt mention anything about his dogs or breeeding or any other subject, as the thread was about his book , which i also said im sure is a good read, but his yard and the way he keeps his dogs is quite frankly a disgrace, and even if like you who want to defend him on many levels as you have a relationship with him which i understand , but maybe sometimes if you cant bring yourself to admit that soemthing is not good as in the case of garys yard and dog care , then it would be better to just say nothing , as by coming on here and getting angry at me is a bit silly , cos it looks like you agree that keeping a yard in such a disgracefull way is ok by you by defending gary for it , which shows you have no ability to see past your friendship with him , and if gary doesnt have the time or space to lok after his dogs correctly then maybe he shpould downsize and make sure that when folks vist his yard they dont feel sick at what they see .

CIK im angry becuase your ignorand!!. you have probely never been to his place. There is nothing wrong how he keeps his dogs. they are fat in winter and dry in summer. they get fed everyday. and cleaned everyday. get there shots.And dogs that are sick get a veternation to look at and get treated.They get there worm treadmends on time.. Dogs are alouwed to LIVE out there lives. Now you might find the look of his yard not up to your way ,But like many a american he lives there for the longest time. has chain links running cables and kennels as long as he lives there. And if they dont shine and dont look new then thats your problem. If it dont break dont fix them!!!.. problem dogs who chew the crap out of barrels water bouls ecetera. get a diferend place to be at.. The man never had ANY problems how he keeps his dogs and sirpases the local standarts how it should be done.... He is KNOWN as a NATURALIST. witch means he let nature take his cours.

has planted lots of bamboo in his yard and lots of other natural herbs against fly,s and other insecsts ecetera like lots of chickens that trive on them, as wel as cats who go afther the rodens... sure you can used toxic sprays and other stuff .but thats not his way .
The shear fact that his yard would be diferend then yours would. living in a compleat diferenf geografic suroundings with diferend inviremend dont give you the right to insult and slander one of if not the most wel known APBT breeder/fansier. The world has ever seen..
who has dedicated his LIFE to these animals. who travels the world more the a couple of times a year to show ADBA shows and give seminars how to stand up and presirv our breed. Who was not only HELPFULL but INSTRUMENTAL in getting Floud Boudraux and Bob Stevens of the hook winning there LAW sutes against them.... Yes he is not bragging about that but those who Know KNOW!!!!!!!!!!.. down sizing has alredy becone 10 YEARS AGO you dumb F..k. thats how deep your on the matter. he cut douwn years ago from more then 250 to 50 dogs. hassend had a pup in over 4 years. but resendly he had a couple of litters...
so know your facts befor your foul mouth somebody who you dont know havend been to and judged upon from a video tape....

Limey i would ask anyone who has been to garys yard to honestly say whether they think that he keeps his dogs in a decent conditon or if they think his yard is a disgrace , and your defending him with stories aobut planting bamboos and other ridiculous attempts ot try and stick up for his yard care is a joke, i bet if keysones yard was like garys you owuld be agreeing with me , but as you know from being to keys yard that keys yard is beautifull .
