Red Nose? Old Family Red? Please help IDK what I have.

Just curious as to what bloodline/strain my beautiful puppy is. I have done some research for quite sometime now so I can better understand my pit bull and give her a great life, and I still don't know. I see some people call their pit a red nose and they don't even have a red nose, ITS BLACK! Truthfully, this is my first Pit not my first dog though as in the past I have had Rottweilers. Every website online really gives me no understanding as to whether my dog is APBT or an AMSTAFF. I have came across pictures that look similar to my puppy calling these type of dogs "Old Family Red Nose." It's all confusing to me, and I would appreciate it if someone can help Haha.

Also, please don't post on this thread if your reply is going to be "Don't worry about it" or "It doesn't matter, just do right by your dog." Yada Yada Yada. Trust me I love my dog more than anything on this earth and I don't need to be told how to love her. I just want some insight on what bloodline/strain she is (I really don't know the difference) so I can better understand and once again provide her with a healthy and happy life. ​

Also, asking the breeder is not an option bc she was given to a relative as a gift who didn't have time to care for her, lucky for me I was blessed for her to come into my life and unfortunately don't have contact with that relative anymore.

How are you going to decide on your own? The dog does not have registration papers no way on knowing but seems your going to call it what ever you choose. Its a red nose dog nothing more enjoy the dog. Yes Ole Man

It's already been answered. Without a pedigree, no one can tell you anything that runs through those veins. The only thing we can tell you is what you already know. It's a dog. It's red. It has a red nose. It may or may not have any OFRN in it. It may or may not be an APBT, a staffy, or some mutt that looks like a pit bull type dog.

Unless you got him from a breeder he's more than likely a backyard bred mutt which means somebody took their 2 house dogs of unknown lineage and bred them together to sell pups.

 

They are ...Its just most people don't want honest answers , they would rather have it sugarcoated to match what they want things to be.

 

You want opinions or do you want facts? Nobody knows but MAYBE the breeder.
