I use the 2"- 2ply nylon - 2 ply seat belt with the double pin buckles. Think they are 11 bucks and that includes shipping. I've always used the same kind and I've had collars outlast dogs lol.

The one this dude is wearing is 6 years old:

My oldest stillwater collar is going on 10 years old. These collars get hand washed once or twice a year and go through everything from rivers and creeks to briars and mountains.

Every collar has been hooked to a chain since they were put on a dog.

Shane is one stand up guy in my book!!

He once sent me someone else's collars and I offered to mail them back on my dime or meet him at an upcoming show and return them. He said his mistake was my gain and to not worry about it.

I won't buy another collar from ANYONE else as long as he is selling collars... period!

So are the leads. Shane produces quality stuff across the board and has great service.

I love the guys collars and break sticks, but that's about it. I was not impressed with the leads. About a month or so ago I was taking one of mine back to his spot after a walk, next thing I knew he was smashing his neighbor bad. After everything settled down and I got them apart, I tried to figure out how the hell he got free. When I looked at the lead, the clasp spring had failed letting my hound free ( luckily in my own yard rather than while we were walking ). It's not Shane's fault or anything like that as I assume he gets his clasps from a 3rd party but it was enough of an incident that I won't buy another one. The lead is less than 6 months old and has only been used maybe a dozen times, I won't even use the 2nd one I bought at the same time. I though his digital hanging scales were a bit cheap too but it'll do the job. I wouldn't buy hardware from there either. To each their own though, JM2c.

Me too, the bull clip looks nothing like the one AGK showed. This is mine and I just can't see this thing failing.

I have used this lead as a tow rope in a pinch to pull a friends car out of a drainage ditch...

The snap on the show leads are not made for everyday use when dealing with bulldogs. Bullsnaps works best imo and the ones Shane has looks nice.
