Hell I've got one that hasn't been in a dog house in over a year. Idk if he had a traumatic experience idk about or what but I had to build him a little lean to otherwise he will just stand or lay on the rain

Cajun, the dog didn't die this winter with the extra cold winter we had? I had a dog die in the cold before (I don't believe he died FROM the cold, underlying reason I believe) so I'm extremely paranoid about the cold weather now.

Nah, I stuffed it good with straw when temp really dropped but we didn't get too cold here maybe 25-28 was lowest and never more than 2-3 dsys below freezing... Not quite as cold as north Texas here

Even though I haven't been there, I'd probably disagree. I think it's about the same or you might get a little colder amigo.

Nah not where I'm at Alabama, maybe north Alabama it does but its rather mild up here we prob average 40-45 in winter... When it gets really cold its 25 maybe... And we see prob 5-10 day of that a year

Yea, I wondered also. I know before this last winter, we went a few years without it getting below 25. I know it gets colder than I expected when I moved down here but not that cold. I know for a fact it gets hotter here. That I'm not proud of. lol

Man I'll tell ya I'd rather have Texas heat compare to Alabama.... We get 85-95% humidity everyday, when was in Abilene in July I enjoyed it!

Got a male that is damn stubborn.
When he is in side the house and i call him, he looks at me and walks the other way.
The same when i want to put him back in the kennel.
No way that he wil ever do it on his own.
I always need to walk up to him and give him a push in the right direction and that bastard always thinks he can get away with it by smiling.

It gets hot in Abilene but not like here. I don't like humidity either so don't get me wrong but when you look at the temp it still says 80/90 something. When I look at the temp it be 100s lol humidity or not 100s is hot af. It's not humid like Houston but it gets humid here at times also.

Bump this up for the same stubborn ass dog that doesn't want to go in her house lol.

Since her house almost got hit by a fallen tree during a thunderstorm, this stubborn shit always comes out in the rain and will just sit there and get wet.

If her shade board is up then she'll sit under it but if not she'll sit in the rain. Eventually she'll end up going in her house but usually takes a hour or more of sitting in the rain.

I've learned that this dog is just stubborn AF in general. We get along well because I'm just as stubborn lol.

I've just got the one female, and she's so stubborn that I can get away with calling her stupid. She's not really stupid, but she lives in the house, and does the opposite of whatever you want her to do. She's really needy and affectionate, so she always wants to get up in your face, or lay on you, and she really doesn't take no for an answer, so she gets put in the yard a lot. lol
