For better or for worse he was a bulldogger to the core!!! He will be missed by friends and frienemys alike!!!

RIP to a ledgend, it was an honor to bulldog with him. 1 of best handlers I ever seen He made ONE handed handles better than most dogman make with 2! True was the epitome of what a dogman should be! RIP to True Colors and his GR CH's, CH's and tons of 2&1x winners...you made your mark in dogman history.

Well put words asesino!!! He was a confident individual I had the pleasure of being around a few times some folks couldn't stand the pressure he brought in the room.. One more that left us to soon "Bono" U and I met on the May-may night!! So RIP to all the Good dogmen and legends that have put forth the standards to uphold and may there be a good one by your side on the other side!!! RIP fellas and ladies!

What did Tony pass away from because he was pretty young to die.
Yes I knew True Colors and been places with him.
I remember when his dog made DOY, I had a bet with him that if Ch. Hagler 4xw & 3 DOY in 04 was showed again he would win the title.
Well Ch. Hagler was retired and I bought Tony dinner. lol
T.C. had a couple of titled champions in 04 that he got my friend at ICC.


I knew Tony for some years, he was young and had a lot to learn back then. I gave him some pointers, specially in handling. TC got better after 04, he would listen but best of all is he could understand what you were saying to him and why. I had met his brother and his wife at a get together.


Rest in Peace Tony.............

 

He was a strait up old school dog man the last of a dying breed who past doing what he loved best! He was a living legend with tons of respect and made a great name for his self with hard work and dedication! RIP T R

 

It was a heart attack I.M..... I believe he went out the way he would have wanted to... And you are one of the few ppl he spoke highly of (and u know he didnt do that often i will pass your condolesences on...

 

That's is how Ken Allen died.
That is how Pinky & Brain at Rollbar almost checked out.
Personally I can only think of 1 other thing Tony would like to have been doing to die from.
He was a lot fun and I always had a good time when he was there.
No one can deny he definitely was floating to top of the game!


Hell I use to buy dinner anyway when we hung out when we was on the road at other places.
No doubt, he would bring it.

 

Yup.... for a ten thousand dollars or a donut he didnt care... He'd do it... Im going to miss the phone calls he'd call and talk you to death... i was pickn his brain once and i got on the "big" names and we came to yall (ur family) and he said " those boys there have the only real red dogs and you better have had ur oil checked before you try to hit the road with them" but he definitely was a good guy if he was in the building u would definitely know it lmao

 

The more I read this about True Colors the more it upsets me.
I just don't what more to say on the subject..........

 

I must say for those of us that held a special place in their heart for The Great True Colors!! A special shout goes out to the Sdj for the celebration of accomplishments that True colors worked for!! Also shouts out to those that mention of The Good Bono also as well...R.i.p fellas and may a good one be by your side!!!!

This has been a rough year on the dogmen and fanciers of the breed, I mean it's been a few rough years but I can't recall so many deaths so close in a while. RIP to True Colors, Mtn Man, Cecil Ponds, Ozzie, JD Elliott, Gaston and I'm sure I missed a couple more but not with intent of disrespect. Also keep Mr Burton in your prayers fellas, he was in the hospital last i heard a few days back.. The rest of you old farmers please get to the docs and make sure all is well don't want to see no more posts like this..
